Is mylot wasting our time

hi all
most of people are joining in mylot coz they can earn money here by discussions n posts.are we really earning though mylot.the time and money we spend over internet to earn through mylot is much more than what we get through it.to reply a discussion or start discussion or image it takes time as the page is bulky and we need to spend lot of time if we really want to earn through mylot and what i feel is what is get is less than what we spend over internet.there is no point
to think that we are here out of our interest and since its associated with money the quality of posts and discussions is very poor and what i feel is the new things and friends through this also less .so friends think of this and decide .

You only have 5 posts .... how would you know how much time and effort it takes to earn in the first place?
Yes, it's worth it, but if you're coming here to strike it rich, you're in the wrong place. Last month, I came in once a day and posted maybe 25 times each day. Maybe. Some days I did a little more, some days I did much less. For that month, I made $20 bucks. No, it's not a fortune, but it's a few extra bucks in my paypal that I didn't have before, for simply answering discussions .... the exact same thing I was doing on other forum sites for free.
The problem is that many people come in, post one liners in as many discussions as they can, thinking that's going to earn them so much more, which is absurd. Mylot has made it perfectly clear that the point is quality, not quantity. Take your time answering discussions, put thought into them and make them a quality addition to the website, and you'll see a better turnout on your earnings.

we reply in forums even they are free coz they are informative and and we can gain some knowledge and they are specific. u said that u use to reply 25 discussions in the begining which suggests that the driving thing is money not the topic.and the money u spend on internet to answer those would be less than what u earn.what i want to point is if the discussions are informative and has quality we can reply here
and as the site is paying most of them are useless and the essence of this is lost in the process.

You are correct Ciniful. I'm not certain what this discussion is supposed to accomplish, other than to hopefully inform other users, especially the newer ones. I have made an average of $30 a month for the past three months. Great job on earning $20 your first month.

I personally use myLot mostly as a distraction from my everyday work. I use it to keep up with friends and just relax after a rough day. I am not here to earn a lot of money, I know that isn't possible. I earn a little bit of extra money a month and that's great with me. Even if I didn't earn, I would still visit myLot. I enjoy some of the in depth discussions and I would miss the friends I have made. To me it isn't a waste of time, it is a great way to just sit back and relax. If one comes to myLot thinking they are going to get rich, or even make a living, then they really need their priorities straightened out. I am grateful to myLot for the little we do earn, it's great fun.
