If you were employed by a company and they put a 3 month probation period in place, then fired you just before that three months was up, is there any legal route you can take for unfair dismissal?
I may be naive, but i always thought that employers had to have a valid reason for firing an employee. Certainly in my company (even if you are in you probation period) you have to first be issued with a verbal warning and then a written warning before the employer can terminate your contract, even then he must have good grounds to do so.

In the UK there is nothing that you can do. If you are still within your first 3 months you can be told to leave and they don't have to give you any reason at all, and they can even increase the probabtion period before giving you a permanant contract if they aren't totally happy.
