is it just me

Being new you will take a bit of time to become familiar and to build up a friend base. Sometimes I will answer a discussion when I am not sure of the topic. I try to ask enough questions in hopes of being answered and therefore learnings. I do my response of questioning in 3 or 4 lines or more. That allows me to earn while I learn. ' The guidelines will give you a fairly good idea and people like me will be able to tell you what can work for maximum earnings while participation in learning and sharing on this site. Have petience and it will become something to look forward too. Those hurriers will not last and is best to ignore them. Time evens things out. Good luck!!

I personally don't care why each person is here. To each their own.... Sometimes I give one word responses but its because if I took the time to read the question, Im going to take the minute to write back, even if I dont know much about the subject.

I did the same when I started here, I responded to everything , Now if I don't like the subject or I know nothing about it I just move on , I have made some brilliant new friends here and the money was just an added bonus , good luck here on My Lot.xx

I don't respond to discussions that I don't know anything about. However I can understand why people do. I usually give myself a target for how many discussions I want to answer in a day or before I go to bed and if there isn't anything I can answer then I am sometimes tempted to go into any old discussion and leave an answer just to get my numbers up. I don't do it thought as I know I will get paid less.

I'm new here too but I haven't seen the money add up to much. So, I don't think people are just putting anything. I think it's more a source to get your voice out there even if it's in font rather then vocal.

i'm new here too.i think this is a good place not just for earn but only for learn. the more important thing here i think is learn,because people here are friendly,they would like answer all the question you asked.and you can answer the qutestion if you can.help and be helped,here is very wonderful.don't come here just for earn or you will more lose valuable thing:knoeledge

Well Yvonne you have figured this pretty fast do what I do and ignore them. If you see anything offensive report it. There are a lot on here that are just here to earn the Money, what they do not realise is that with their Silly Replies they are not earning good.

You are partially right. I am one of those that are here just for the money. Nevertheless, I try to respond only to those topics that I have an answer for. As for your example of Taylor Hicks I would have answered in the same way. The reason for answering is not just to get the money but also to get you the money, because you are my friend...

You are not wrong. Some people just don´t read or just don´t care. I have recived some pretty strange answers to some of my discussions at times. =) They will get reported for it though wich is what u should do in this case and that weay they will not get paid. report by pressing the - or the ! if they are spamming or breaking the rules!

Well I dont do that thing. I am selective in my responses as I hate to waste others time as well as mine. I prefer to answer the discussions that I'd like to talk about debate or ARGUE. HAHAHA. J/K Even on my friends discussions I dont respond to them all. I say "why" when the subject matter is of no interest to me nor do I have a lot to say about it. Im babbling now. HAHAHA. I found it hard to respond to quite a few discussions and don't if i know nothing about the subject. I haven't been here long, if i can i try to respond to a few new user discussions and friend discussions and anything i find interesting! The money part does make some people forget to enjoy making new friends to me its secondary and not the most important thing, i come on here to read the discussion take part be part of the site

There are indeed some people who are here just for the money, and it seems they don't care about anything else. They're driven to earn, but yet they're on a site that literally pays us a couple of cents per response lol. Welcome to the fold, I too an new (ish) but I would like to say that if you get a response that you find is insulting to you or demeaning in any way, there is a button that you can press to report the poster. On the right side of your screen where each response is, there are three buttons. Press the one with the exclamation mark in to report someone if you need to. For the most part, I tend to ignore those kind of people if they post a response like that. You can usually tell who those ones are because you'll see a whole page of posts that they've posted from time to time. Ignore them and they'll not be able to earn because nobody will respond.

well i`m not like that an if you want to talk about something interesting i will join you.and yes the thing with the short answers for a quick buck is really annoying!

No your right there is alot of people here for the money and you'll come to find alot of things here that will bother you but really all you can do is just ignore it. Alot of people get mad about the samething as you but to me life is to short to get mad at what a bunch of people say on some forum. Anyways I hope you enjoy your time here and goodluck.

If it's something I don't know anything about and I want to know about, I have responded with a question. I figure since its a discussion and not a question and answer forum then its okay. If it's something I know nothing about and don't think its anything I am interested in then I don't respond.

alot of members of mylot are here only to write nonsence replys so they can earn a few cents.so they dont care what they respond to. they dont even read the discussion .so its not you,these members will get booted from mylot if they arent carefull.an finding good discussion is getting harder to fine here on mylot an it is frustrating going thur their junk discussion they post.so no its not you at all..

When I joined first my impression also was the same like you. But gradually I started to meet some really good members who really cares about quality. But lots of peple here who are just trying to make money by posting anything but no quality and sometime it does not make any sense waht they post as a response. Keep searching good discussions and good friends, keep posting quality discussions and responses and you will earn more. And definitely you will enjoy being here.

U r right.. There r some people who respond apparently jus because they hope to earn more faster with less effort.. I'm also new to mylot.only about 4 days. I've only started learning to use mylot now. I created my account some time ago but I thought mylot is a boring site, jus trying to attract people by promising money.So I ignored the site till few days ago I felt I should give it a try. I also came across some people with in this short period, who post totally useless responses even when they have nothin to say on the topic. Actually I also joined mylot jus try to make some money. but when I started participating discussions I started getting hang of it..Its realy fun to give opinion on things of ur intrest. Well I guss I can add u as my friend too.. Of course there are a few people here who do that just to get money, but if they are making one line posts like that, then they wont get much or any from it at all, anyways. Also, I dont know who taylor hicks is, either, lol.
