Asteroid hitting earth

Hope it wont hit the earth. Remember Halley's comet around 1970's that was also reported to hit the earth? Luckily it went to another direction and hit the sea I guess. I was so terrified then, being so little, the thought of it crashing the earth was terrifying..

Is this actually true? I'd be over 60 yrs. old by then. Let's just all hope and pray that it doesn't hit earth. On the other hand, if it's God's will to end the world, then there's really nothing we can do but repent for our sins.

Tell you the truth, scientists probably won't really know if or when it will hit the Earth until it gets closer to that time. I don't know if I will be around at that time anyway.

I hope that asteroid will not hit the earth! Let's just hope and pray, that it will not happen.

its the astroids we don't know about that concern me. the reported astroid, we got some time to get a jump on it.

I believe it is only extremely close, but will not hit earth. I hope I'm right. We don't want another ice age. If it leaves some small particles and be pulled by the earth's gravity, I hope it will dissintegrate before it hits the surface. That would be cool like a fireworks display.

I did not hear about an asteroid possibly hitting the earth but am not surprised. Hopefully it will pass us by and not hit us. It would certainly destroy much, if not all of earth and human life. I would be 65 in that year so I would not be able to run for my life very well. LOL

I'll be 52 by then, but I just hope I'll still have my breath on those days. This is totally alarming for mankind. I do hope that NASA can figure out something from their very good technologies and won't allow this asteroid to get even extremely close or worst is to hit the earth. I hope and pray that this won't happen then or else the earth will come to its extinction.
