Does anyone absolutely hate the beach?

My family and I went to a beach near our home on the weekend and although it was a lovely warm day and probably perfect beach weather, I had had enough after about half an hour. As soon as that sand gets in my swimmers and I start feeling sweaty - I want to pack up and go home. What about you? Do you love or hate the beach? Is there anywhere that you absolutely hate to go?

I love the beach and when I was living in Dublin I used to go to the beach every evening in Summer. I don't get to go very much now as I moved into the country and it is too far to travel to the nearest one. However, I hate having to shake all the sand out of my shoes and the towels before getting back into the car and some of it always manages to find its way back home with us.

Right now it is to cold outside to go to any beach. But in the summer time I love the beach. I wish I had a house by the beach.I like to go swimming and just lay around and enjoy the sunshine. I do not like to go any place that is cold.

I don't hate it, but I don't care for it. I cannot stand walking in it, and having sand all over me and inside my bathing suit. I prefer to sit on top of mountain and look at the splendar below. The ocean is full of sea creatures that I don't care to come in contact with either.

i love to look and hear and smell the beach, but when it comes to getting on the sand and swimming in the ocean...COUNT ME OUT. first i hate that the sand sticks to you and you can't get it off for days. Second, i hate swimming in the ocean because i do not swim in a sewar so why would i swim where all the fish and thinks poop?

I love going to the beach, maybe if I live near the beach I'll go there almost everyday. My mom doesn't like going to the beach because she doesn't like her skin to get dark, I'm not sure why but I don't even try to understand her reasons.

I always like the idea of the beach until I get there and then the sand gets n everything and my little boy decided he has to dig the biggest hole and flick the sand over me! I like the beah when no body else is on it and I can walk along the shore in the peace and quiet.

I’m with you missy I am not a fan of the beach, I’ll happily sit on seats & watch the ocean, & world go by. Miss 10 always wants to go swimming, and last time we let her in the ocean she was nearly washed out to sea. Hubbie had to dive in and rescue her. So much for life guards.
If she wants to swim, she can have a bath. Lol
