I have been going through pictures and ran across some pictures of Disneyland here in California and it got me to thinking with so many people from around the world on here that their have to be people who have visited Disney them parks around the world? Which parks have you visited? Did you enjoy them? If you have visited more than one which was your favorite? If you can, share a picture of your vacation. I look forward to your stories. My first visit to Disneyland I was 30 years old and I was like a little kid. I spent 5 days there.:)
We are trying to do a trip there sometime towards the end of summer or possibly even at Thanksgiving time. The youngest hasn't been and she will be 4 this summer which seems to be the perfect age to go. :)

Well, I haven't gone to any of them, but I'm planning to go to Disneyland Hong Kong at the end of the year. I have seen the booklet, and I think the place is just fantastic. You are so lucky to had your 5 days spent at Disneyland, I always want to go to Disneyland since I was 5 years old. Hope your kids happy in Disneyland =)

I have never been to Disney. I sent my granddaughter 2 years ago and she loved it. I have been to Orlando but we did not go into the park. Perhaps next summer I will go, I am sure my granddaughter would love to go again. I would love to see the place and I know that I would be a kid again too! If I ever go, I will send you pictures.

That was nice that you sent your granddaughter. I hope that you get to go, I haven't been to Disneyworld, yet, I did hear that the hotels are an amusement park in themselves. :)

I have been to Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida on numerous occasions. The last time I went there me and my friend drove all the way down there from Delaware. We had fun at Disneyworld, Epcot Center and the other parks there. It was a blast and look forward to going back there someday and seeing what has changed or is new. I will have to look for my pictures as I have some in my photo albums.

It was my husband and mine's first time to Disneyland in 2005. We took our girls, then 9 and 3. We spent three days and I loved every minute of it. I could not get over the fireworks every night. My 9 yr old and I had the most fun. The first parade we saw was in the evening and it was so amazing. I have several pictures but I don't have them uploaded to my pc (shame on me)! We are planning another trip perhaps this summer or next. I can't wait! I know I must've smiled the WHOLE time.

Forgot to add that you wouldn't have been able to upload a picture in to this discussion as you haven't reached 500 posts yet. :( I'm looking forward to that here shortly.

I have visited Disney Land in California many times growing up. Then as an adult, I went to Florida to live. I worked as a silhouette artist at Disney World. I got to go to all the theme parks all the time. I must say that my very favorite is Epcot. It is awesome. Then Disney World, as it is quite large. Christmas is the best time to go, as the weather is great, and the parks are fixed up so gorgeous. Hope you can get back again. It's worth the trip again. Try for a couple weeks, it is very expensive.

I have been to the one in California and Orlando. I think overall the whole Disney World thing in Orlando is better than the one in California. I really loved Epcot. The thing about Orlando is that there are so many more places to go that are are pretty close to each other, so it makes for a better overall vacation. If you are just wanting Disneyland then there is nothing wrong with the one in California.
I just sent my daughter and Husband to the one in California this past OCtober. It was my daughter's first time, and my husband hadn't been since he was about 8 years old. I couldn't go because of an illness but they sure had a great time.
My daughter thought it was the greatest thing ever. She got to have lunch with the Disney Princesses, and she was just glowing the whole time. that was her favorite part of the whole trip.
I would visit Orlando is I lived closer to it, but I am live in the west so it costs much more to go there.

The only Disneyland that I've ever been to is here in California. I was born in Long Beach and lived in that area until I was in 3rd grade so we went to Disneyland way back then fairly often. You had to have Disney tickets to ride the rides then. It was a lot smaller too. We visited Knott's Berry Farm when it was free to get in too. Wow, have things changed! I've got to dig out those old photos and re-visit those memories.

Now it is one price to get in and the rides are included. Now they have those fast track tickets for poplular rides so you don't have to stand in line for so long.

I love love love Disneyland, it is the best place ever. I have only, so far, been to the one in Cali. However, I plan to make a trip to Florida soon, and perhaps, after that, I will go to the others around the world. I know that my family are planning on having a gathering in Disneyland soon, in Cali, so I might do that soon. I have had such great memories there as a kid, and have pictures saved. I went just a few months ago, so I could make it to the 50th anniversary. I didn't think that I would make it, but I did, just before it ended. It was the best, we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, and being a Tinkerbell fanatic, I loved that the wallpaper around the ceiling was tinkerbell, and there was stationary and postcards to send, and I love eating in Goofy's Kitchen, that is a must for anyone that goes, and it is better, to get it with your room, or to call in advance, so you can go right in, instead of waiting in line. There is always so much to do and see, we will never be able to!

I think that when it is in your profile you can't upload to a discussion because you can't get paid for it.
I never did the Goofy's kitchen but hope to on this next visit. I did do the character breakfast and that was great all these characters coming right over to your table it was unforgetable. I hope to one day get to Orlando but I have no idea when that might be. :)

I am on eastcoast and hate flying.I went to Las Vegas for the first time last year. This was the first I flew.I don't think I will fly again.Severe turbulance on the way up and landing gear did not go down on the way back.So anyway I go to either Ocean City Md or Wildood N.J.Wildwood has alot to do for children. They have 4 miles of boardwalk and 4 piers with rides. One of then is a huge water park. And money wise the beach is beautiful and it is free!I woul love to go to disneyland but no plans to.

Sorry that you had such bad experience flying. Everytime I have flown in and out of Vegas it has been awful, because of such bad turbulance. I'm glad that you have some parks close by to you. I hope that one day you make it to one of the Disney theme parks they really are spectacular. :)

I live in Orlando and have been to Disney quite a few times. My children all loved going to Magic Kingdom. Now that they are older they prefer going to Universal Studios. I like all the parks, I just hate the crowds.

I've only visited the one in California twice already. We've tried Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. I'm really not into the adveturous rides like the roller coaster but I really did enjoy my stay there. It's like coming back to childhood again. I particularly like the Indiana Jones ride and the Honey I shrunk the kids 3D adventure.

We're really trying for this year and will see how that pans out. I figure we can drive and stay in one of the less expensive motel/hotels and by our tickets ahead at costco we should be able to do for a reasonable price. :)

Indian Jones was awesome my first trip to Disneyland wasthe year that Indiana Jones opened. I haven't been back since the California Adventure park opened, I'm not into rollercoasters either. My favorite ride their I think is the Pirates of the Carribean. :)

I went to Disneyland in California for the first time when I was about 9 yrs. old. We spent Christmas there, we lived in California & I remember my brother was spending Christmas with us, my parents had divorced about a year prior. My mom had made me a black velvet dress with a white lace bodice and she made me wear that. I can't upload any pics yet, but when I can I'll see if I can dig that picture up. It was under the huge tree they put up in Disneyland, I think we ended up going there about 3 times. I have been to Disney World in Orlando, Florida also 2 times. Universal Studios in Orlando 1 time. I can't say as I have a favorite, but as an adult I think I enjoyed Universal a little more, but now that I have little ones in the family again, it will probably be Disney World. I believe all kids should experience it at least once in their childhood.

When Disney World in FL opened in 1972, my kids and I met my parents, one of my sisters, and my cousin there. My kids were 9 and 10 at the time, and they really loved it. When I remarried in 1978, my husband and I took my kids (teenagers then) to Disney World on our "honeymoon". We all had a great time. Since then, we have taken our kids and the two oldest grandkids to Disney World, but the 3 youngest still haven't been there. We have also been to EPCOT, Sea World and Universal Studios in Orlando. We've enjoyed visiting all of these places, but we don't enjoy the crowds as much as we did when we were younger. Still, it's a lot of fun to see the grandkids enjoy themselves and have so much fun.

Yeah I have been recently to Orlando trip and had been to Disney park, Universal studios as well as Sea world. We were there for only 5 days and hence saw only one of the theme parks of Disney and that is Magic Kingdom, as EPCOT was the rides one which we were not interested much, then there was MGM studios which must be similar to the Universal studios. I dont remember the fourth one. Then there were two water parks also of Disney, we didnt go to that also. We even went to Beaches in this vacation.

I've been to Disney World in Florida. The first time I went was 30 years ago this summer. I was eight years old and we traveled down from Michigan. We had a pop-up camper at the time and we stayed at the campground at Disney World called Fort Wildnerness. It was great. At that time all you had was The Magic Kingdom and you had different tickets for different rides. If you ever heard the expression an "E" ticket that's what they were refering too. You had different lettered tickets for different types of rides. We went back a few years later and it was still wonderful.
Now I live in Florida and have been there a few times. I've enjoyed it each time. I loved taking my neice there. I'd go more often but the prices are a bit too steep for us now. Maybe some time in the future I can go again. It's a lot bigger now :) with a lot more to see then when I first went.

I have heard that Disney World and the surrounding parks are very expensive. Camping seems like it might be a way to go though. However we live in California so would have to fly, camping stuff ect, maybe not after all. :)

I have only been to Disneyland! I have gone about 15 times though, The first time I was a year old! I have pictures in my baby buggy there. I went many times during my childhood as my grandparents lived in California! We used to visit them and then go to the theme parks after and then home. I went the last time with my parents when I was sizteen. I have been back twice once with my hubby and kids 7 and 5 and once with my girlfriend Alli and my kids 11, 9, and 4 it was a blast! My favorite trip was the second to last trip we had alot of extra money that trip and my kids got to buy special momentos and stay at the Disneyland hotel, It was magic!

I was 15 and my parents took us all to Eurodisney in Paris! It was a coach package holiday! It was pouring with rain everyday and it really wasn't pleasant! The park had only just opened and alot of the best rides were only half finished and things were shut down!
It appears to have got alot better since and I would love to take my own kids one day! Better still I would love to go to the real thing! But I can't see that happening any time soon unless I win the lottery!
