Have you ever donated blood???????????????? How many times?????????????????

Till now I have never donated blood. But now I am ready. My brother is very much involved in blood donations and he has given several times also he has helped many kids during emergencies like in surgery also. He used to conduct blood camps before. But those days I was very small and skinny. Now I am married and have put on weight so I think now I am ready to give.

I do it on regular basis. I donate blood every year on the independance day. I am a member of a social society which works in health services to the poors and victime of calmities. I even pay some time in encouraging the people for this blood donations. This being a good cause of living I wish everybody should donate the blood atleast once in two years.

I used to give blood. Now tho, there's a problem with my blood's iron supply that's been persistant.

Who says girls don't donate blood? I used to donate as often as I could. Where I grew up, there was a permanent red cross blood donation station across the street. When I was in college, I used to go as often as they would let me. They say if everyone in the US donated blood once, we would never run out. Since no one else in my family would donate blood, I figured it was my duty to donate once for each of them! I haven't donated in years, I should do that next time I see a blood drive.

I've never given blood before. The whole idea of it kind of grosses me out. I know it is the nice thing to do to help people out, but I've passed out getting blood taken to be tested.

yes, I did. Twice. First was for Red Cross. After that a friend's friend needed blood transfusion.
