I tried 3 times. Since 2004, my new year's resolution was to stop smoking, but to no avail. I can't have even 1 day w/o a cigarette. After going to quitnet.com website, I finally got ready and was able to prepare myself to quit. today is my 28th day without even a puff of cigarette. :) I still working on it and I know I'll continue doing this. :)

Oh, I have tried to quit smoking countless times. Every time after few days I started again. It's so hard but WOW, congratulations, 28 days, that's good. Countinue it and maybe write something after few months so I can know about your progress! Good luck!

thanks! it is very, very hard but i believe in myself. I don't want to have lung cancer. just for advise, if you are not ready yet, don't force yourself. try to prepare first before doing it. PREPARATION is the key, for me. :) it helped a lot. i suggest that you try visiting quitnet.com. c",)

I stopped smoking 15 years ago . . . Never looked back. Glad to drop the dirty, filthy, anti social habit.

Congrats dude! At least you are working on it and I believe that you will make it. Smoking is really dangerous to our health and stinky too, lol. Goodluck!!!

we should have stability of our mind to contrll every thing,i think this is the same thing if we are unable to quit smoking that seems that there is no stability of our mind and we should not have the inferiority that i can't

I tried to quit smoking many many times. Each time I got pregnant, I was able to quit until after the baby was born. I knew the hazards to the baby if I didn't. So that was 4 times just right there. My husband says, quitting is the easy part, it's not lighting up again that's hard. He's so right. We have both finally quit smoking now. It has been 5 months for us. We used the commit losenges to do it. Of course it helped alot that I was extremely sick. I woke up that Saturday morning unable to take in much of a breath at all. Talk about scary. I told myself and my husband that that was it. I was not going to smoke anymore and I haven't. We didn't even need to follow the whole 12 week course of commit. It's much easier if you are really ready and want to do it and to have someone to go through it with you is alot nicer than going it alone! I agree that it helps to prepare first too.
