I was born in Greece - near Delphi actually but I now live in Australia. I go over to Greece every few years and have visited a lot of the islands and mainland. If you need a Greek translator - I will gladly offer you my services ;-)

My girlfriend is greek and I was going with her to Greece this summer and wouldn't be able for the reason that I can't have my vacation same time as hers. Next year I will be going to Greece for a wedding with my girlfriend and really can't wait.

I have been in Greece four times and I like this country very much. I've been to Thassos island - it's so beautiful. The other places I have been to in Greece are Keramoti, Kavala, Orestiada, Volos, Kalambaka and Meteora - the famous stone monasteries.
I want to visit other greek islands. I hope to do this next year.

I often go to Greece for my work... I am an archaeologist, well more correctly an archaeozoologist, in other words I study animal bonescoming from archaeological sites in order to reconstruct ancient societies in an economic or social point of view. With some student of my university I work on cretan sites of the minoan age, so I have been in Crete several times and I visited Hiraklion, the archaeological sites of Knossos, Aghia Triada, Festos, Mallia, but I enjoied also cretan beaches as Aghia Galini and some other near Aghios Nicolaos. Beleive me when I say that the Island of Crete worth a long visit...

I visited greece in 2003, the hottest year ever.. My breath taking part of greece was up north when i visited the meteors in kalambaka. I never saw anything like this.. these strange huge rocks standing all around with on top the meteors. They are isolated monastries from the 13th century and only few of them been preserved. The monks could get up there sitting in a sac and pulled. We had to wear a skirt (women) and trousers (men) as a mark of respect.
I also visited anthena and Igounemitsa on the coast and a couple of other towns..was tired to see ruins though lol
