Complaining about payment!

If anyone thinking that mylot members ar ejust paid a bit, I dont think so. If you m\you patience in posting and making discusion and if you like what you are doing by your heart you will not know that you already gain more cents, and more cents means a lot of dollars. So if you have extra time why not do this., right?

I heard about mylot from one of my egroups. I got curious with what they say that you get paid for all your postings. Gave it a try and really amazed about it. You really get paid for taking time to participate in the discussion. At first, I wanted to see a number in mylot earnings so I keep on answering a number of discussions and it suprised me that even for a very few posts, this is my 49th I think, I get about almost a dollar already. But then I also started to get hooked in answering the discussions not because of the $ earnings but also find myself interested in the topics posted. Indeed, I'm learning a lot also from different discussions. I find myself reading the responses from discussions which actually would make me ask the same thing. This is a good venue for me to broaden my perspective, learn about new things, meet new friends and understand different cultures.

You're so right. This site is an awesome place to meet people, learn new things, and just talk about practically anything. The fact that they pay us anything at all is amazing. Anyone who is trying to "get rich quick" or to even earn an income here should quickly realize that this is not designed for that and they should move on and let the rest of us enjoy being here. I like the extra pocket money, of course, but I am able to put it into perspective; I can't quit my day job over MyLot!

Yes offcourse, and you aren't gonna get anything without posting almost nothing or posting stupid things. It all depends on your tactics and whether you have a lot of interests maybe. Just do your best and like it (otherwise it won't go) and than your first payment will come much faster than you think!

I agree that one can't expect to make alot here; but I do think it could be a little more- what is it, a penny per response? I am only at .75 as of today, and can't figure out how to get more referrals- it seems that is the only way to do better. The two I have aren't doing anything at all- so it's a waste!!

I admit, I joined to earn money, but then found out how little you get for everything. So now it is just fun for me, to ask questions and respond to other peoples questions. I am surprised that people are so into trying to make alot of money off of this, to me it is just silly. But that is just me and my opinion.

I for one think its great to be paid anything to chat on the net , I would be doing that anyway for nothing , I joined to make money initially then found some brilliant new friends , i spend so much time replying to my responses( not supposed to lol ) and I read all of my answers to my discussions , I think its fun , and I can type a lot faster with my 2 fingers too now lol xx

I don't complain about payments at all. I've been here for about five months now and it still amazes me that they are willing to pay anything just to talk about everything. I also think it's quite sweet that they actually do pay!

I think Mylot is a good forum for enjoying. But if someone is here for money only then it pays less. For money I have found a very good and easy site for making money. Its a surf engine. all you have to do is search in it and open the link and u will earn 0.25$/hr. There are many simple ways to earn from it. e.g when you use mylot search mylot in that site and open it from there. u dont have to do anything extra and will earn as well.

well I agree ..... I am basically not here to earn 'now', see to be very frank initally I had this thing dancing onto my head that I have joined mylot to earn and to earn a lot of pennies.... slowly I discovered that the satisfaction -- mental and intellectual that I am getting from here is more than any thing for me now.... Because I really enjoy talking with people, telling my problmes to them, sharing their problems.... when I am actually reading someone's problems, I am actually preparing myself for an even worse situation..... I think that this could happen to you too Ketan, and that is what mylot gives me -- alertness, awareness.... so earnings isn't an issue.... Moreover, hey u people, you even don't earn that less on mylot.... question yourself, how many bucks do you get while being on sites like orkut or yahoo? None, so isn't it far beter-- provided you have an intellect capability and knowledgeablility of something being good or bad!!! Right./..

I think that the payments are stated and nobody has the right to complain. These are the rules. I can't imagine how greedy one should be to want better payment for... doing nothin at all! Because that is nothing (more than everybody are doing everyday). I understand everybody NEEDS cash, but this is not the way. As I said in another discussion - the money are just a bonus to all the information here.

I totally am with you on this.... I enjoy writing, in fact I torture people writing long emails... so this allows me to stop writing to people who don't have time really, and to get paid a little for something I do ANYway. So I feel I ought not to complain. I don't expect a big income from it, I am realistic and know I am just one of many members and in order to pay anyone they have to be sustainable. Like you, I am still in shock that anyone would pay anything for me writing.

If they want a better payment, they better find a real job.(",)This site is not really a place to be when all you wanted is to get paid every month. I really don't mind how many pennies I earned everyday for posting since, I really don't have the luxury of time to write everyday. I'm just enjoying myself joining in the discussions and expressing what I feel on certain issues. But, ofcourse, I don't want to be a hypocrite to deny that I'm also after the money.hehehe.I'm looking forward on the day that I'll be able to receive my first payment. I can't agree with you more. It say's earn a little extra. I don't expect to earn big bucks here. this isn't like a day job. It's more important to earn a few friends than more bucks. I post a few discussions yesterday and earn 5 cents. 4 from the posts i made and a penny from a referral but who cares. It's better than nothing at all. It's better than getting scammed.

people should stop complaining that they are being paid less when in the first place, mylot did not force them to sign up in this site..mylot should not be used to earn a living because you can't really expect to earn a lot from it..i just use this to earn extra cash and having an extra $10 is not that bad..let's just count our blessings and be thankful for it..

Well, yeah its not fair to think this is a be a millionaire site. its not, its just some site to give a little for something to shop online for a little.

At first, i got interested on how much money i could get just by posting discussions and respond to other discussions but as the time goes by, i've learned that, its not just about money, but more importantly , the knowledge, the friendship that about to grow. You get to meet people with good insights about some things. You get advices that would really help you solve your problems and dilemmas.

I do want to make money as every little bit adds up, but I also like to practice my typing and talking to people so I think this is a neat way to get paid for what I do on other sites for free. LOL

It has not specified as to what credits is given to you on the response you make to the discussions.

After reading the responses to this thread, I have to agree... this site should be used first and foremost as a place of discussion, and secondly as supplementary POCKET CHANGE, NOT as an ultimate source of income. Just my two cents.
