What is your favorite wintertime beverage?

Hot cocoa and hot apple cider have been my go-to drinks lately. I occassionally also enjoy a chai latte (though this is infrequent because of how expensive they are or how labor intensive it is to make one from scratch).
I'm not a big coffee or tea person, but I must admit I would have to choose hot over cool beverages almost everytime. I just love anything that could raise my internal core temperature a few degrees.
I typically don't drink alcohol in any hot beverage, but a little brandy in my cocoa is a big treat every now and then.
What are your favorite hot beverages? Both with and without alcohol?

I love a good mug of hot chocolate, with extra whipped cream! It is very comforting on a cold, Winter's evening - sadly very fattening too! As a Brit, I also have to say that I love a good cup of tea at any time, under almost any circumstances!

I like white chocolate hot chocolate. Hot apple cider is nice now and then, too.

Yeah same here I think I have probally have had 1 or more white chocolate hot chocolate cups a day this winter and a now and then a cup of hot apple cider hits the spot too. But my all time is hot tea I drink that all the time even through Summer I still drink hot tea.

Those are all my favorites too! I like to make hot chocolate on occasion and I love hot apple cider warmed with cinnamon sticks. I don't drink coffee either really but like tea, especially chai tea. That's what I order when going to coffee houses with friends/family.

Hot chocolate and hot tea are my favorite wintertime beverages. They keep my insides warm and keep me going. With out those two I would be sleepy and groogy all of the time. They keep a good pep in my step.

I really enjoy a french vanilla cappuccino with a drop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkled cinnamon.

i dont really like hot beverages. i dont know why, but i just cant drink them. i think i have a really sensitive tongue or something so hot drinks always end up burning me...or maybe i just dont know HOW to drink them! i regularly drink green tea and fennel tea, but i always wait til its warm to drink it. i do like, however, hot chocolate and things like that as well, but, again, they have to be warm before i can drink them!

I love drinking hot chocolate on the winter. Freezing weather and hot chocolate make such a cozy feeling together. I highly prefer cold beverage to hot, though.

For me it has to be hot chocolate with marshmallows. I stock up on them just before winter starts. Im not a big coffee or tea drinker so thats it for me, although at time whens it really cold i do have a coffee with a lil bit of rum in it.

Definitely very similar to you! Love hot apple cider, but it's a rarer treat. My main wintertime fallback is hot chocolate, rich and creamy, flavoured or just plain, sometimes with a bit of baileys .... mmm. Lovely.
Tea for me is a staple, but it's a year around staple, so I don't know if it really qualifies :)

I've just had a lovely hot drink of aero mint chocolate - it has a lovely taste and frothy top which tastes great. I love the flavoured chocolate drinks like choc options, either mint or orange. However I also am a big tea drinker and love coffee if it is made either with milk or with milk mixed in with the coffee before the hot water is added - the best way to make instant coffee taste great.

In the cold we have been having this winter here in Upstate NY I have developed a fondness for fruit flavored Teas. But I have been known to enjoy a hot coffee with a little Kalua in it.

I love Latvian black balsam with blackberry juice. I like it hot and strong. It is not healthy to drink it every day, because it is still considered an alcochol:)

Tea is my all time favourite hot beverage as i grew up with it( my country produces the best flevoured tea, Assam and Darjeeling tea.). It is my morning addiction too. I like cofee also but dont have it much because it is bad for stomach.
In the evening, obviously, Scotch whiskey or Vodka.
