There aren't too many TV series that I like well enough to watch more than once, but I'm just starting to get the third season of Farscape. I have the first two seasons, and hope I can get them all. I also have the complete Kindred: The Embraced, and Firefly. I'd like to have Babylon 5 in my collection some day, but I can see that TV series are going to take up a lot of shelf space if I keep going.
What are your favorites?

So far I think the only thing we have on DVD, tv series wise is Kindred: The Embraced. I want to buy Carnivale, Roswell, Lw & Order: Criminal Intent (only the years WITH Goran and Ames..I don't care to watch it without them), Prison Break, Smallville, Kingdom Hospital, Supernatural, Roswell, Dark Angel, The Early Edition, House MD, and probably a few more but I can't remember them lol.
We're not exactly real tv people..we just collect alot over the years via borrowing from the library and Netflix lol.

Another Kindred fan! I was really sad to find out that it was cancelled because Mark Frankel was killed in a motorcycle accident. It was probably the best vampire series ever.

I agree, it was filmed beautifully as well. Not many others can compare to it.

The tv series sets are so expensive that I don't usually buy them. The Sopranos would be one I'd love to collect though. I am going to start watching Rome on HBO on demand too, so I might end up adding that one to the list too! LOL
My daughter loves and wants The OC and Prison Break.

The expense is why I rent so many series from Netflix. There are lots of series I like, but not well enough to pay big bucks for them. Right now, I'm watching Sharpe, an old British series with Sean Bean. It's very enjoyable, but I probably wouldn't want to see it again for several years, so renting is a good way to go.

I would like to collect Farscape on DVD too. It's a great show and I really like Ben Browder and Claudia Black. So, I also would like to get the Stargate SG1 on DVD that they were both in. In fact, I just got the season [#9] of Stargate SG1 where Ben Browder started out as Colonel Mitchell and Claudia Black was there as Vala. Love it! I am trying to get The Munsters on DVD, the old black and white show with Fred Gwayne [think that's spelled wrong, sorry] as Herman Munster. I love that silly old show. I would love to have Star Trek Voyager on DVD but its very very expensive unfortunately. We have a few seasons of Xena Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD, still trying to get all of those. There's a lot more that I want but money is an issue here. Those DVD's can really cost a lot!

I have series 1-10 of Friends on DVD and before I got them on DVD I had them all on VHS (which took up a LOT of space)! I bought the whole DVD boxed set of Tru Calling (which isn't difficult seeing as they cancelled the show partway through series 2). I also have every episode of Spooks on DVD which is a brilliant UK spy series. I'd love to buy more sets of some of the shows which have finished but I doubt my husband would appreciate it - we just don't have enough space for me to buy up Buffy, Angel, Charmed, Frasier, etc, LOL!

Space really gets to be a problem after a while, doesn't it? One thing I like about the Firefly series is that it's packaged in slim cases. The boxed set of four discs takes up the space of two normal discs. I wish all sets were packaged that way.

I have all the Stargates, all of Farscape, all of Andromeda, all of Enterprise and Voyager, and all of Angel. So far I have what is out of 4400 and Eureka, as well.

I collect the Bad Girls DVD collection (It is about women in a UK prison) I also collect Golden Girls, unfortunately although series 4 has been already released in the USA because the UK is so far behind, I am still waiting for that series. I also collect Frost (UK Detective Series with David Jason) I am seriously thinking of collecting Malcolm in The Middle DVDs because I love that programme. But my dvd library is bursting!

Way to go! Judge people by one thing only. That just tells you everything about them, doesn't it?

The only TV series I watch regularly is Seinfield. If I will decide one day to start a collection, then I will be collecting episodes from Seinfield. Now, I just own one DVD, not that much to talk about a collection :)

Looks like I have a lot of the same TV series as many of the past posters. I have Buffy Seasons 1-7 (yeah, those take up a whole shelf of my little DVD storage unit). I also have Firefly. My sister bought some of the Angel seasons so I didn't have to. As you can tell I'm a huge Joss Whedon fan, and those shows are like comfort food for me. I love having them around to watch whenever I want to.
I am thinking about buying LOST. It's such a complicated show that I feel it's something I could watch again and again. I think I might wait a little longer to see how it goes before I make the finanical commitment.
