I've started that kind of discussion a few times, and got it once myself (it nearly destroye my life..it shouldn't have but it did)..
I'm just wondering how many times you guys have heard that dreaded kind of discussion? What goes through your head when someone says that to you? Do you have any horror or funny stories about your experiences with that kind of discussion?
Just curious ^_^

I got "I have something important to discuss with you when I get home" from my boyfriend while he was overseas, and it stared the crud out of me!! He didn't think it was bad, how he said it, and he thought I overreacted. It turned out I DID overreact, and that it was REALLY GOOD NEWS, but the WAY he said it.... it scared the crud out of me!

If I ever hear this then my heart usually sinks because you know it's either going to be a deep and meaningful conversation or it's bad news. I can't recall any horror or funny stories at this moment in time but you usually find the conversation isn't what you want to hear!

It does tend to be, my muscles go tense when I hear it myself.
It's alwas great when it wasn't as bad you originally anticipated lol.
Thanks for responding.

Being female I am not sure about what happens with others. If I say, Honey we have to talk, then I am most likely to get his attention and we can work something out together. We tend to do our own thing and meet up when we have to. Some men I guess would have fear strike their hearts when she would begin to speak. Will be neat to see what others have to say about this.

The last time I used this line "Honey, we have to talk" was last week. My partner when very quiet and very pale, obviously dreading the conversation to come. He went and made me a cup of tea, and washed up the dinner plates too. He came back into the lounge and sat down beside me and said "Is it something I've done?" I couldn't help but smile at him then replied "Honey, we have to talk about where we want to go on holiday" He looked so relieved but I had to laugh a little, having seen him look so worried before.

well 2day itself one of my friend says to me or rather asks me Why we do something .. I found the question quite incomplete.. or infact too much a philosphical to be answered by someone as ignorant as me .. hee eh .. But I do managed to give a simple answer .. Beacuse we like it we do it .. Then he asked --Is it means we hate everything we do not do .. .discussion kept going for hours ..and do not know what was the conclusion and indeed it was quite disturbing
