So you can reach for The Word as often as you can, wherever you are. Great idea!!!

I never thought of having a Bible collection, but I guess that I do. I read regularly out of the New American, but also read in the Message Bible and the 365 day bible right now. I also have a Jerusalem Bible and a NIV version. I also go to http://biblegateway.com pretty often and look at the other versions of favorite passages.

Having one in our possession is already a blessing. Collecting them is a great privilege, my friend... and reading then is Divine.

We are not hopeless. The fact that we have admitted our "laziness" but hoped that we would overcome this, means there is this intention to follow what the bible says. And Hope is here to stay with us until we use our willpower.
God bless you too :)

Among my precious belongings, my great grandmothers Bible is certainly one of them. It is a lovely leather bound KJV Bible that even has family prayer cards in it from family members that have passed on, as well as her own hand written notes in the Bible :) I don't read it much because I have my own copies of Bibles and I dont want to mess up hers :). Other than that my engagement ring and promise ring from my fiance as well as all of the sweet presents and stuffed animals he has given me along with a beautiful hand painted water color painting that he made me of us. I treasure each thing that he gives me - they are all amazing expressions of his love for me.

Oh yes, certainly are - I actually have 3 that are particularly precious to me. 1 a dear friend gave me before I knew Christ. 2 given to me by my now ex-husband on our wedding day. 3 the NIV traslation that I use daily and carry with me every place I go.

Oh yes my Bible is the most precious of my collections. I carry it everywhere I go. Now i'm thinking about giving it a unique bind. It's very precious in many ways. Its my father's Bible and he passed away 15years back. From my early childhood I've been treasuring it.
