if you are a girl/woman/lady/wife/mother. . .

I don't often carry a purse or bag..I'm just odd like that. When I do I usually have my wallet, maybe lipstick or eyeliner, a notebook, deoderant, a pen, some napkins, a brush..and maybe my tiger's eye or quartz, maybe some chalk. Most of that stuff I carry for the obvious reasons. Notebook and pen get the most use obviously, with me being an avid writer. My wallet doesn't usually have money in it, so that's with my library cards, which also get plenty of use. My tiger's eye is for protection, quartz is for focusing, and chalk is in case I feel the need to draw protective circle around me. I don't always use chalk..so I don't usually carry it..just shows how witchy I am I guess. I don't usually leave the house without something I could use as an aid to help me work if there's trouble. "Expect the unexpected" is my motto lol.

Let's see, I have makeup (several of almost everything, actually), house key, laundry room key, old house key, 3 student IDs, about 3 or 4 suckers, various candies, a small bag of dragon tears, a few bucks, body spray, pens (I have no idea how many), pencils (about 3), a small notebook, my student planner, various scraps of paper with e-mails and IMs on them, a watch, a bag of those conversation candy hearts, a small sampling of personal business cards, a handheld mirror, and a deck of playing cards. Wow. This is a small purse, too. I'd like to see you try to find something in it, though, lol. The dragon tears are personal attachment; my friend told me the legend, and I've kept some with me ever since, more out of love for my friend than anything else. The other stuff is rather self-explanatory, I think.

What an interesting topic. It made me realize how different the contents of my handbag are now that I am (much) older when I was young it weighed about 10 lbs (LOL) without all the make up I used to lug around when I was still in the work force. Now I am retired I carry my keys, wallet, small amount of cash, credit cards, drivers license, comb, Kleenex and a small notebook and pen. What a difference!

In regards to my handbag, what is inside I have my wallet, with all my id in it and money of course. Make up, a small little ash tray due to I smoke just incase I am stuck in some place where I cannot ash my cigerate due to I do not like to leave a mess and we are not allowed to just throw them on the ground.

LOL It is hard to tell what all is in my purse. I know my wallet, credit card, etc. But I think there may also be some lip gloss, lip balm, suckers from the bank that they give me for the kids, some of my prescription med., of course, a little bit of trash. A whole bunch of loose change. A pen, some more suckers from the bank, cigs, keys, cell phone, and some stamps. Nothing exciting in there. But I did get to answer a discussion and clean out my purse at the same time!

I collect bags (not on purpose they are cute) like my mom collects purses, I collect backpacks. But I try at all times to have the following on me: a pad for (you know), my wallet, coin purse, cell phone, my poetry notebook and at least one pad of paper and pen (if possible). I dont really do "purses" but have had one more recently. I like my backpacks though dont know why. Its how I am :)) Oh yeah and some lotion for my dry hands :)

well definitely wallet, cellphone and house keys... i can't go out without these three primary things... next is umbrella... you know, to prevent myself from getting wet if the rain suddenly falls... after that is my precious water bottle... can't go out without this as well as i drink a lot... and last of all are the cosmetic things like combs, lipstick, hair pin, face powder, etc... quite a lot of stuffs huh... :-)

i love to carry big bags with me whenever i go out. it usually contains: cellphones - one for each major network; wallet - inside it are my ids, credit cards, bills; coin purse - for loose change; keys - for the house and drawers; organizer w/ pen - i used to write on it; kikay kit - a pouch where i put my lipstick, comb, small cologne, hand sanitizer; i used to bring a small bible with me but my other bag was stolen and this was in it... now you know why i should bring a big bag :)

speaking what inside my bag...:) (love to topic:D) college days i always carry big bag because of my things aside from books and other stuff, my friends told me that i have a school supplies on my bag...lols..:D i have 3 pouches inside it.. for my cosmetics (or we call it here in the philippines "kikay kit" :D) for my school supplies small things like pens, scissors, glue, erasers and alot... and one for special stuff like tissues that i got from restaus :D... my phone, wallet includes pics, cards, importand documents, school id, planner etc... that's why i always buy big bags..:D that's it...till then;)

MY bag is such a mess and there are a gazillion thingsi n there, but what I definitely have to have are: 1. My wallet which contains: money, my atm card, my ID card 2. Cellphone 3. Hair brush 4. Lipstick or lipgloss 5. sunscreen lotion 6. facewash

just like you I always take my wallet with me :) some make-upp, pda (with navigation system or else i get lost LOL) a pen, my phone. Not very much got a small bag from Prada

hi, when i go out alone i usually use a small bag or a pouch bag.and it contains my wallet,comb,lipstick,pressed powder,pen,phone,key ..but going out with my kids i use a bigger bag and it has everthing i mentioned above plus of course my kids stuff and cookies or biscuit for my kids:)

i only bring powder,lipstick,hair brush,handkerchief,money and cellphone...thats all!

Well in my purse is my wallet (DL, atm card, credit, card, insurance card etc) I also have my Fashion Fair cosmetics (eyeliner, lipstick, gloss, face powder), money, loose change that is just at the bottom of my purse..lol..If I forget my clip to my cellphone, it goes in there also... I buy small purses because If I had a big one, I would probably store everything under the sun..lol

i know a lot of guys who have bags, too...are we excluding them? Anyhow, in my bag i usually have my wallet, cosmetics, a notepad, a pen, a lollipop or something in case my blood sugars drop, my digital camera, my glucometer to check my blood sugars, and my cell phone.

when i go out alone i only bring my comb, phone and money. but when i am with my kid, they often comment, "did you bring all the stuff in your room?"

wow! after two years i'll reply again hehe :D now that am a mom already i have an additional stuff to add :D aside from all the things that i've mentioned before..now it has important docs like my son's birth certificate, baby's book, medicines, and health cards :D Godabless!0=)

I don't carry a bag any longer. When I did, I put entirely too much stuff in it. Now, I am disabled so I carry my important items in my pockets (money, driver license, atm and credit cards). I wish I still carried a purse. There are some pretty cool ones out there. When I absolutely have to carry something (no pockets) I use a black leather fanny pack.
