how can you let go of someone you love..

It's really hard and painful letting go someone you love but as the saying goes "If you love someone set him free, if he comes back he is meant to be but if he does not it wasnot meant to be." Well, this happens to me when my first love decides to leave me and marry another girl that was about 15 years ago. It really hurts me so much in facing the reality of letting him go but life must go.Acceptance and forgiveness is what i have done to let him go. I do believe that things are not meant for the two of us. I was just thankful for his coming into my life then. At first it so hard to face the reality that he is gone..totally gone forever in my life..but my love for him will always be there for he holds a special place in my heart. As for now, im so thankful that GOD has sent me someone who truly loves and cares for me, my husband we're on our 2nd years of marriage, so strong as the days goes on.

simply let go. love does not bind, it frees people...

I think the meaning love is to give not to ask. If we truly love somebody we on't become such a selfish person. Mostly, the things that we thinks is the feeling of the person that we love not just our feeling. All we think about is the happiness of the people that we love, not jusr our happiness. So, if she/he will be happy if we let he/she goes, I think it's the right way to choose

when we love we do stupid things and that is something that makes love oh so powerful... but the saddest part is when the one you love loose his feelings towards you and you cant do anything about it but just cry and let it go. its hard to let go of the person whom you entrusted your life with and that you have loved so much and it wasnt the ending that you want it to be... its difficult to let go when the wounds are never healed..i know it will someday but when the wound is still fresh and denial sets in then there's really a struggle and that struggle its so difficult to overcome and see the light at the end of the tunnel. to let go means to give up... and that is something a difficult thing to do but to GET YOURSELF BACK AND BE WHOLE AGAIN, I CAN SAY ITS ALL WORTH IT LETTING GO OF HIM.

When someone decides to leave you don't say no cause it's their decision. When they decide to love somene else let them love anybody else, you can't force anybody for what you want. All of us wants to be happy..maybe leaving and loving someone is their happiness..just let go..moved on and continue to live your life. Be strong, somedy, somehow the right one will come. Just wait..there will be someone really meant for you.

I really can't understand why it is so hard to let go at times like these. If that someone doesn't love you it means that he/she can not make you happy that's it. no need for any other word. if you still suffer for someone who doesn't want to be with you, i think it is NOT love it is something else, something which you have to find the way to kill it. Because things like this always happen, the others come and the others go but you always stay right where you stand. so you have to get over it if you don't want to spend your life feeling sorrow for other people's choices.

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk.
