I need that 10 start rating...what I'm going to do to get it!!

Well if it makes you feel any better my star went to a red also i was a 10 and so proud of myself. Now it is a little discouraging. But i want you to know i always rate you positive and i think your discussions are real and very interesting. I am mad at mylot for treating you this way. Some out there are just out to get us i think because we are trying hard and are jealous of the high ratings we get. By the way if anyone reads my response and gets mad......FYI..i dont care.

Those idead seem great, but I guess it wouldn't work in the guideline here at mylot. Well, my obvious suggestion would be to post real quality posts like you always have been. a 95 is awesome to me, and I know that you are constantly doing your best. Well, I wonder if this is an entertainment post, or you are serious about it. Everything here is about quality, good responses, appealing responses. Well basically, make the poster, or starter of discussion feels insightful, useful information, and good justified opinion of yours from your posts, and boom, I guess your ratings will be up soon. Well, I am not qualified to advise you about quality posts, but I am doing my best to give my opinion, at least. Yes, maybe another strategy, make sure that your posts is also favourable to other viewers who are about to respond to the discussion, you may earn a + from them ya? Well, that can be done by positioning yourself in the first few posters of the discussion, hence, perhaps some good samaritian may rate you conviniently before he, or she decides to respond. Quality posts, good positioning, wait. Thats my strategy at least, enjoy.

Good luck in your quest for the perfect 10! I had it and then I lost it. If you do figure out how to regain the ever elusive 10, let me know. I don't like red and want that pretty blue star back too. How do you know that your rating is 95? I can't seem to figure it out. I will give you a big fat + for this discussion. Come on 10! LOL

This is the first time somebody with over 800 posts has asked me to help make them a 10, but I have come up to post. I'm convinced its hard to be a 9 or 10, as I see a lot of lower numbers. I will rate some of your posts today. Have a great day.

LOL! You really make me laugh. Your ideas are fabulous, lol, and you know that you've more than earned your plus rating from me. Although I only wish that I could be at a 95/100! I've been stuck at 81/100 for days and days, and I just can't seem to get any higher. At least I climbed back up from a seven. I was getting really tired of being a seven, lol!! But I hope that you make it up to 100/100 soon! You're such a creative writer, I just know that you can do it! ^_^

I'm sorry, those methods just don't do anything for me, you'll have to do better than that. I know! You could just keep on being the great guy that you are and not let the b*st*rds get ya down :) You've always been a + in my book, and most likely will continue to be.

haaa.... haaa.. haaa... i've been stuck in the 9 star rating as well for so long and actually today is the first day i've got my 10 star rating... i log in this morning and i am so happy to see at last i reach the 10 star... i just patient and keep on doing what i have to do here... so my advice to you is... be patient, keep posting and keep replying... you will get your 10 star rating... i guarantee that...

We have something in common here, because my rating has not moved a single point in either direction since it was introduced. I assumed that it was because nobody was rating my posts, so of course no movement would take place. However, you have just proven that it takes a lot of activity to change the rating, there are over 30 responses before this one and your rating still has not moved at all. I shall be interested to see how long it takes before your star rating does change.

You sure deserve to go up one notch :) Anyway if you are voicing your true opinions and never afraid to disagree with people here in mylot you should be proud of your 9 star, I was expecting my 9 star to go down sometimes but it was a nice surprise it went up to 10.. we can't just tell people only what they want to hear to receive this illusive star of 10, just be yourself and I'm sure it will come your way, from the way you write I'm sure you deserve it:)

I used to be a 10 for quite a time but it dropped to 9 and so I said to myself I'll try harder this time to go back to my former glory but the more I try to post quality and lengthy discussions the more my ratings drop. I don't know why. So I finally decided not to be bothered by it anymore, I will just go on posting the best I could. Cheers.

I've been a "9" since they started this too, and I was beginning to wonder as well. Well, I don't have to wonder anymore. When I just logged on, I saw that I was "10" - I'm so excited that I did a happy dance and everything. So I'm crazy, I don't care. Maybe we need to start a myLot support group for those of us with the myLot addiction, what do you think? Well, I added you as a friend a while back, so that I could find your great discussions, so you're definitely on the right track - hehehe. I always respond to my friends' discussions, and about 99.9% of the time, I give them a "+" too. That's what I do for my friends, and I hope they do the same for me. If not, I'll have to............hahaha, only kidding. I just do it to help them, whether they return the favor or not! Just wanted to know that I've been doing this for you all along!

Stuck with the star hmmm i think my star just going up and down recently and also the rating. It's hard to continuously maintain the posting since i'm working especially office hour, at night mostly have other thing to do. Hmmm i do think we can clim up just by get rating from others, but "begging" hmmm let me think first :) i dunno buddy, i just rate + for you. I wish you good luck. I hope somebody do the same for me. It is already very nice to have a 9 stars rating. It is really difficult to get a 10 out of 10. Keep it up, inked4life! =)

I'm just trying to get to 100 posts so I can GET a star. Sometimes posting is easier said than done, but I persevere. You get a "+" from me.

Good sense of humor. "If you can't beat em, laugh at em" I think I usually do give you a + when I see you. But watch out about asking for it, that is probably against the guidelines, BUT WAIT!!!!!!!, you did not ask us to rate you as +, you only said that you would ask us. You are probably okay.

Well... I've got a ten but to tell you the truth I have no idea why! I just rate everything and answer all my discussions and give ratings to my responders. I must be just lucky flying under the radar I think. I can't see why you haven't got a ten. There are a few others on here that deserve them and haven't got them yet either so maybe there's a different reason behind it. (Oh no not another conspiracy theory!!!)

Don't feel bad I have been stuck on the red since they started the star system, no matter how many discussions I respond or post it never goes up and never goes down I am to the point that I just don't care, they will do their star system anyway they want to, I just enjoy the discussions, take care

i think you are crazy about stars. I got star 7 at first and now i am star 8 . i am also trying to reach 10.Start a good lot of discussion , as we are not able to find good discussion out here. you may definitly get a good lot of response from me and if the discussion are good then i would even rate them. And for this you are getting a + from me.
