You might try looking on ebay first at the old auctions to see what it good.
I have found one here : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/playbox-annual-1924-illustrated_W0QQitemZ300079332448QQihZ020QQcategoryZ50176QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem but I'm not sure if its the same one that you have.
The other way to do it is to take it to a local auctioneers. They should be able to give you an idea of what it would get if it came up in auction.

Depending on the condition of the book it would probably sell for $10-15 (Bad condition) to arounjd $50 (excellant Condition) Excellant or "Mint" condition is perfect no flaws nd very unlikely considering the age. Now looking at the trade papers I don't see a big demand for this title so you might just be better off going to a comic book shop and getting a Mylar bag and backing board to protect it and hang on to it. Maybe give it to one of the children when they have children of their own kinda thing.

If possible find an antique book dealer in your area.
Do a search online for Playbox Annual, and antique
For example some depending on condition and year, etc can be worth about 10 dollars others 50 or so, and it is possible that one in good condition from that long ago could be worth more.
Since I think one in Good to Very good condition from the 30's is worth 50, it is possible that one that is a decade older will be worth more. It is more common to find one from the 50's I think.
Good luck.
