Have you ever reported anyone on myLot?

i've reported someone once. there was a guy who put up a picture of a naked baby boy with everything showing and said who else thinkgs this baby is sexy. it was completely inaproriate and there is no need for naked pictures on here. it took less than half an hour for mylot to take the post away. i would do it again if it ever happened. could you imagine how you would feel if someone put your baby's picture up there and said that. just not right.

I have a few times, and I will again if I see a need for it. I normally wouldn't unless it's obvious the person is doing nothing to contribute to the quality of the site, and actually adding to the problems. One that I've reported was randomly posting insults, not pertaining to the discussion, just random insults when he didn't like the subject matter. Another was one of the random alphabet typers that you mentioned. A few others were copying discussion topics from other sites, straight copy/pasting others discussions without coming up with anything on their own. And one in particular was copying previous questions from this site, then using them as their own discussions. The same as you, I did it before and I'll do it again. Some may see it as cruel I suppose, but the people who report the ones abusing the site are helping to keep this site clean and calm for everyone else.

so far, i never reported anyone before as i never encounter experience which requires me to do so... but i will if i see it... i won't just keep quiet and do nothing if i see somebody breaching mylot rules and policies... this is to keep mylot integrity and for the community to have a condusive environment to stay...

I always report people if they deserve it! I have done that more than one time and I will do again, even if myLot will not give me money for doing this (they should do that...we could advice to mylot to pay us for reporting people who is breaking rules!). Often I found people that cut and past some other person discussion! This is very bad, because I don't like if someone begins copying my discussion! I must say that reporting someone makes myLot soon ban them (if they deserve that thing of course!)

i report site abuse. If someone is breaking the rules ill report every time. I agree its important if the integrity of mylot is to remain intact

I reported somewone who cut and pasted one of my responses and used it further down in the same discussion. It's the only time I ever reported anyone and Mylot removed his response.

NOpe, I didn't report anyone, because I guess I usually don't see spam. I see weird messages but, I don't report them just for being weird. we can't be a police here, it's a comunity.

YEs I have reported just a few people. They are no longer on here or they changed their ways. They would do just as you said, dsfjhkjldf for a responce. There were a few people that were copy pasting pages from some story they either wrote or found on the net. That was a about a month ago or so and I haven't had to report anyone since then. It really has gotten alot better around here since then. Mylot has made changes and upgrades that helped too.

no, i will not report anyone, i just give mylot the authority to do it, i know admins are there to monitor what they are doing here. i will just focus on mylot discussions and responds. goodluck

I have actualy reported someone before because he/she had posted 3 different topics on the same subject but with different titles: Ex: How to post on mylot -Mylot posting? -Mylot how to post? So i became furious and said. 'Listen please stop posting different topics on the same subject.' She gave me attitude and said Fine report me or ill report you... So that's what i did.

I haven't reported anyone yet because I haven't encountered responses in my discussions that are inappropriate. But if I do encounter one, like the one you mentioned where the person just typed in useless random letters, then I would definitely report him/her because he/she doesn't deserve to get any reward from it. It's good enough that they pay us for our opinions but doing something like that in return is just not acceptable for me.

Hello , I am new here and still havent reported anyone. I dont think I will do it, only if someone is really rude. I prefer to rate only good posts.

I just joined here, but i also want to share my opinion about this discussion. When people are breaking the rules, i find it perfectly normal that i or another reader reports that person. When nobody reports such things, the internet would be even more be filled with stuff that is just not right. That's why i think it is everybody's job to stop the spreading of illegal content and/or faul language. The internet is made by us for us, and we are the ones that have to keep it clean.

So far I have not reported anyone but am not here often enough to notice the sorts of things you are talking about .... I was told that mylot stopped paying for those sorts of gibberish discussions anyway and the people will be found out through some sort of computer program check that mylot have. But if I did come across a discussion like that ... yes I would report them because they are of no use to anyone or anything .... they are not even worth the time on the internet if these people expect and want to make some money. Why waste time for something like this if you expect to be paid ... it would be better to be a little bit constructive I think than to do something so silly.

I have given people warnings that if they did that again I would report them and they were fine so I didnt have to report them. I think its always fair to give someone a second chance its the right thing to do.Wouldnt you want a second chance?

I've reported several things to mylot. Most of it has been clear violations of the guidelines. I think mylot appreciates the heads up as they can't be checking every discussion or response that is given quicly enough. I feel they depend on all of us to report things, it's for the benefit of us all. Sometimes I have reported things that seem to border being a violation. I explain in my roport that I am not sure but wanted to make them aware. I don't go looking for things but sometimes they just jump out at you, screaming....Report Me Please...lol

I've reported two people. It didn't appeal to be something I should do, I now ignore things and allow others to report it because in those two cases. I didn't appreciate what followed from reporting them, not even from this place itself. ~Joey

yes i have a week or two ago a guy was on here boasting about a crime he had commited and gotten away with and i reported him (dont think anything was done about it)however it diminishes this site when this sort of thin is allowed to happen dont you feel I do!

its has just been 5 days for me to b with mylot.however till now i never come across any person of such kind.bt i m very strict in this manner.if ever i face such problem ,i ll definately report.the site is made for people to share their views n help others as well.not for nasty per ople
