Have you ever felt symptoms of job burnout? Have you felt like you just couldn't take another day at work, even if you once liked your job? If so, what did you do about it? Did you change jobs? Take a vacation? Do as little as possible until you got fired? Does anyone have any good suggestions for how to deal with symptoms of job burnout?

It seems I've had job burnout for several years, but I just feel like I have no where else to go. I hate having to depend on my salary to help pay the bills. I take extra days off sometimes, and pray a lot for my attitude to change! LOL. I also say thank you prayers that I have a job!

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes extra days off can help. I am grateful that I have a job; I know what it's like to be unemployed. Sometimes I need to make an effort to focus on the positive, but it can be hard, especially since a lot of the people I work with are also really stressed out. I hope things get better for you and me both! Thanks for your comment :-).

When it gets too bad for me, I make sure I thank God that I have a job and thank Him for my boss and then ask Him to help me be more appreciative.
