When the adversary they face are almost as big as them! Honestly, have you seen rats that big? RATS, not mouse. The kind of rats that lives outside your house, in the garden, and wreaking havoc with your plants. Well I have. And it would seem that my cats are familiar with them too, as they didn't even show signs of curiosity over these creatures. And I can't really blame them for not attacking, I myself was frozen where I was.lol!

I remember when I lived with my dad in a big city, it was dark out, we were walking across the street to the alley to the back door of the house. I looked over in the street, and said aww look a kitty :) My dad said, that ain't no cat, it's a rat!! The thing was HUGE!!! lol. The country rats I've seen haven't been that big, but I've heard some stories about them getting huge as well. And, no, I don't blame the cat one bit :) My dog killed one that wandered into his "yard", wasn't that big though, probably the size of a squirrel. But I'd definitely take a country rat over a city rat any day lol...
