Looking For Very Liberal Free Webhost!

Okay... So I have designed some photoshop brushes that I'd like to give away, but I want to place a Paypal donation button and one or two of my affiliate program links. (Some people do nice things for really good free stuff.) But I can't find a free website that allows it! I've found a couple that would let me have my paypal link but they all say "No Referral Programs." blah blah blah. I'd think a "business" free webhost would? Oh and I will show off my photoshop brushes as soon as I get the site up!

I agree with oldbuddy about finding a low-cost host instead of free & making it pay for itself. I use dreamhost.com. It's a little pricey for what you are doing ($9.95/mo) but, I have a huge amount of storage and transfer available, unlimited domain hosting, and unlimited free subdomains. They also have a ton of free plug-ins like WordPress and phpBB boards.

How about setting up a free blog from http://www.blogger.com I use them for my site and have all kinds of links up there and have also had Paypal buttons there too. It free also. I would definitely be interested in your brushes as I do website design.

I couldn't host .abr files from blogger could I? (or zip if need be). Or is there a good place for that sort of hosting?

Not sure about the .abr files but I'm sure you could zip them and put them up. Another alternative may be to just put up a screenshot of the brushes and have people request them by e-mail if they are interested.

Glad to see that you got your site up. I agree with some of the others, you get what you pay for. Most of your hosts have alot of extra features and add-ons for your website. I use 1&1.com, good luck with your site.
