My spelling tends to be a bit erratic, so I use the Firefox browser which has a spell checker which will automatically spell check any text that you are writing.

Have you seen the email that went around, showing that you don't actually read every letter of the words as you skim over text.
Apparently, provided the first and last letters are in the correct position, you subconsciously guess the word.
I;m quite a stickler for spelling, but my poor typing normally ends up in several errors that I never notice until I'v ecompleted posting (even when I use previews!!).
A little test:
Tehre ocne was a lttile man taht epxrieecend dfifiuctly wtih tpynig.
Could you read the above sentence? This may only work for those with English as their first language.

Been there, done that. I hate it when I mistype something or misspell something where it makes it hard to read. I try to be careful or if I'm doing a big post, especially a discussions I will copy it over into outlook express and do a spell check. On the average post I don't do this unless I'm unsure on some words in it, then I will. I wish there was an edit button as well because sometimes you just don't catch things at first but you will later on.
