I would like to do something nice for my husband but I need some suggestions. He has been working so hard so that I can stay at home with our daughter. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

What if you bought him a certificate for a massage session? I know that was something I did for my hubby about a year ago and he still hasnt stopped thanking me. What types of things does he enjoy? If he likes writing, maybe buy him a beautiful leather bound journal to write in, and perhaps make out your own little certificate that says "This is good for one complete day of piece and quiet to write about your life!" (or something to that effect). Or, if he is really aching for some time with you, is it possible to leave baby with someone for a short time? Maybe just go to dinner, watch the stars, or for fun...recreate a romantic evening you had in the past! (wear the same clothes, go to the same restuarant etc).

if you can get someone to sit with your daughter ( someone you know well and can trust ) take him out for a meal , it doesn't have to be expensive, If you are on a tight budget even a fast food outlet will do . Just have some time for yourselves without having to worry about your daughter , I know with experience you will probably talk about her all the time ,you need time to yourselves , good luck xx

Maybe fix his favorite meal then rent his favorite movie to watch afterwards. Massages are great after a long day and so is a hot bath.

My husband has let me stay at home for almost the last 2 years while he works. Since he's on his feet all day, I do what I can to help him relax and unwind after dinner by giving him a nice long foot massage (with lotion). If he's been climbing ladders or stairs, I will also massage his legs. Sometimes he's snoring before I can finish (LOL) but wakes up if I stop.

If he is a sports fan and you can afford it, buy him tickets to an upcoming game and let him take one of his buddies. You'll be wife of the year for that one.
