what is the point of school?

school is so pointless, nothing i have learned in school has been needed in my life. i find it to be a complete waste of time, energy and money.

I think that you are right that what you learn in school is not useful in your real life. However the qualification that you earn at the end of it is necessary to suceed in life. It is useful sometimes to look at what you are aiming for with going to school rather than the relevence of each individual lesson.

I agree with you. In high school we learned so many things that we don't use in life, but once you get to college those classes are useful to your career.

At college is where I met my husband. And also because of school I can speak different languages and communicate with people from different culture..So pointless is a bit harsh....

Yeah sure. The point of school is to get you a lot from life. A good job, a big paycheck. All these are essential to have a good life. I'm not materialistic but only being realistic.
