Do you still have your old family traditions?

When we were little on Christmas eve we would go to grandma's house and eat rice pudding. It was like rice oatmeal and it was really really bad but we all ate it. Grandma always hid a nut in the rice and whoever found it got the prize. Now like it I said it was bad and everyone hated it and the prize was usually a box of chocolates but we all ate it children and adults. We don't do that tradition anymore but it still brings back fond memories to me. Do you have old family traditions you did and do you still do them?

hi,, i also have the old family traditions in mine i also enjoy that traditions also celebrate xmas with lot of enjoy and old family traditions

We would always open our presents one by one, taking turns so that everyone could see each gift that everyone got. I love that tradition and we still do it. It's such a waste to just rip into the presents and then its all over with so quick.

We all still go to my parents' house for lunch almost every Sunday. My parents always did this with their parents also. It's nice to get together and catch up on things and just spend a relaxing afternoon and quality family time.
