You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you've never met. Would you want to go if you had to go by yourself?

I guess if I knew some people there, I wouldn't mind going alone. At the end of the day, does it really matter? I'm sure people will not be talking about that person that showed up by themself.

Absolutly! You get a chance to meet new people & don't have to worry about being "attached" while there. Who knows what can happen...the love of your life may be there. But, if it is lame & you want to go, you can just go without waiting on another person.
