I've never cared about the brand of TV, I always go for lowest price.
When I first met hubby he couldn't have any electronic device that wasn't made by Sony. He had Sony TV, DVD player, sterio, the whole nine yards.
But since we had kids, we couldn't afford to always buy Sony anymore, so he went for a decent brand that was still affordable.
We most recently had a 52" Philips TV. We had it a few years, but the inputs are starting to go. So just last week we bought a 60" Mitsubishi (I thought they only made cars!)

i have a toshiba. i haven't had many tvs since i'm only about 19. i got that one because i got a really good deal on it. it was 100 dollars and it's a 27 inch tv. usually they're much more than that.

My tv is a Toshiba. I do have some brand loyalty because everything I have bought from this company (my DVD included) has lasted me a long time. In fact, I have an old clock radio that is Toshiba that I've had for as long as I can remember. It's got to be at least 20 years old and it's still going strong.
Where I to buy a new tv soon, I think I would make sure to check out Toshiba's, however, if I found a better one from another pretty reputable brand, I would buy the better one.
