how many of u have seen the movie matrix
the stotry of the movie was that one day computers will b so advance that they will start rulling human they will take
control of human and make human kind their slave
how many of u think that this is possible is it ever possible for the computers to rule over the human will they
evger b able to rule the human kind .looking at the present advancement of computers what u thing will it b ever possible

I'd have to say computers already rule the world. Computers are everywhere even moreso with the developing nanotechnology. But, you are speaking of artificial intelligence where a computer doesnt need human programming and computers can 'learn' by absorbing more data and add/discard hardware. I read in a popular science magazine regarding today's technology- that if you can imagine it, it already exists. That magazine article was published several years ago.

I don't think this would ever happen. Even if we could build a computer powerful enough to do this, we would have a failsafe in there so that there would always be a way of switching it off.
It is just people who are scared of technology who think that this could happen.
