i am always having this bad habbit,i can't get up in time when i am sleeping, i know "early to bed and early to rise" before going to bed i take determination i will get up.....but no use my mom shouts at me....again she creates some scene... then there is no other alternative...and,i have to wake up....please anyone here to help me.

when somebody have motives or schedule to do then he/she gets up on time... my biological clock is set to 5:30am and no matter what when i went to go bed i got up at 5:30 sharp in the morning and i cant lay there without having sleep in my eyes... so i started my day with pray and a good breakfast.

Hi, i dont think its a bad habit i think you have conditioned yourself that way maybe your iron level is low maybe you need to change other habits. how old are you and what does your day consist of? school, work, exercise. are you overexerting yourself which causes you to be to tired to get out of bed? Do you stay up late, ask yourself, analyze your situation , and if you still cant figure it out then see a doctor to run some tests, to find out if you dont have anything wrong with you. I had a problem waking up so i started taking multi-vitamins and they helped me a lot and i am anemic.. hope this helps

I only wish I had the same problem as you. I am what you call an insomniac...I will lie awake in bed for hours and hours, if not all night. When I can I try to stay in bed in the morning, but I just get frustrated because I cannot fall back to sleep.

I love my sleep! I try to get atleast 9 or 10 hours a night but atleast have to get my 8 to function. On days where I don't have any activities or work to worry about I splurge and sleep even longer. What works for me is if I tell myself while im laying in bed that I need to wake up at 8am, for some reason I automatically wake up. I think we have a internal clock that keeps are bodies insync.

our biological clock that keeps our body insync is called as pineal gland- as far as my biology knowledge is concerned, its a fact.... wel, still at times, i think my pineal gland to falls asleep, cause dat makes me sleep for long hours(hahahaha)... wel thanx for your response...
