What's the most you have ever done to avoid a homework assignment? Have you faked sick, lied about a family member dying, copied off of a friend, or worst?? Did you end up getting caught or did you get away with it?

Parents will have to teach children to do their homework always. This is teaching the children to become responsible for themselves. As they grow older, they will cope in meeting all those school requirements which parents may find difficulty some understanding already. Children who are used to doing their homework as kids in the early levels of school, will do it on their own once they are in high school and college. Assignments may require some research work and the conduct of interviews for the higher school levels and only those who are used to doing homework from the primary grade levels will be anxious to carry them all out.
The students who avoid doing their homework and mumble multiple reasons for failing to come out with sufficient compliance, are those who are bound to become the irresponsible ones at home and at work. Parents will have to see to it that their kids are cooperative in school and responsible enough to comply with all school requirements. Follow ups will include being in constant contact and communicate with their kids always along this ground.

I was always pretty anal that way - always finished homework and never allowed excuses to interfere. I teach now - and believe me - I have heard every story imaginable! :p

I think we've all lied about being ill.
Certain homework i would leap to do and others i'd find away to leave it to the last minute. normally i said i was busy watching history programs and things like that on tv but i was just playing on ps1. lol
kudos

I've taken a whole week off school just to get out of it! I've copied off friends loads of times. I usually get away with it- teachers know i'm lying but they can't proove it!

One time I had a project due the next day that I havent even started. So I took a couple blank pieces of paper and fed them to my dog. I didnt let him eat it but he shore did tear it up. My parents bought it and I got a week extension on my project. Pretty desperate and stupid huh?
