I'm glad it's Friday because for one, I don't have any classes on Fridays. Two, I actually have a chance to sleep in, and three that means I have three whole days off so I can do whatever I want. The usual.

Haha I didn't even realize that it's Friday until I read this, that's so sad! I stay at home so the days kind of blur into each other, so it's just another day! I'm sad that it's Friday because in the next two days there won't be anything good on television during the day lol.

It is payday :) Another nice check to spend on bills...waahh!
Seriously, it is because I don't have to get up early on Saturday and Sunday--well unless the kids decide they don't need to sleep until at least 8:00...lol

I'm currently not working, so Friday has just been another day for me lately. When I am working, I love Fridays because it means that I can stay up late that night doing whatever I want to and I have 2 full days to myself. When working full-time, days off are to be cherished and enjoyed. When I'm working I strive to get all of my housework and errands done in the evenings after work so that I can enjoy the weekends rather than spending them doing work of a different kind. There are also more social events that occur on weekends, especially during the summer months, that I like to be freed up for. I don't even mind spending my evening Friday cleaning until midnight, knowing that I'll be able to do whatever I want for the rest of the weekend.

I did not even realize that it was Friday! We are in the midst of calving and day after day and night after night have all seemed to blend together. I guess I am happy it is Friday or any day that takes us closer to the end of calving lol.

It doesn't matter to me since I work during the weekends too. So mostly friday is another day of routine house work and work at the shop.

I'm glad it's Friday because I just recently quit my job so that I could be at home for the kids this summer. Have to take them to their games, etc. Anyway, it gets kinda lonely just talking to the dogs all week..lol Want to have some good family time together.

That's a good question. I don't even work right now but I still wait for friday each week. I think it's been drilled into our heads that the weekend is for relaxing. At least that's what it means to me. It's funny every friday night the old saying TGIF (thank god it's friday) comes to mind and I think..oh I can sleep in tomorrow.. Well da..I sleep in every day...lol
Starting in America, it has become a common expression of relief at the end of the work week and anticipation of relaxing or partying over the weekend.

Being a SAHM, I don't really get out much during the week. My hubby's days off are Saturday and Sunday so I always look forward to the weekends. Especially this weekend because there is a town celebration going on about 30 minutes from where we live. It's like a mini-carnival. There are rides for the kids, lots of good food, and live entertainment. There's also a rodeo going on this afternoon and most of tomorrow...so that will be lots of fun!!

I'm glad it's friday becuase that means there's no more work for a whole 2 days - huzzah! That means i get to have a lay in in the morning if i want to isntead of getting up at 6:30am, and it also means i get to do what i want with my time.
Also, every other weekend on a Sunday me and my partner go to have Sunday dinner at his mum's house. This weekend is on of the weekends we go so i have that to look forward too, and she is a really great cook!
