Did Last Nights Episode Turn Out Like You Expected?

So did you like the way the show turned out last night with Meredith surviving--meeting up with the EMS worker, Denny, and others on the "other side" or did you think it would turn out another way? And if so, what did you think was going to happen? My husband has been teasing all week that Meredith was going to wake up from a nightmare. I'm glad it didn't turn out that way, I think the script was much more interesting as it turned out.

I actually really liked last night's episode. The bickering between Denny and Dylan (bomb squad guy) was hilariously adorable. And Denny and Meredith's conversations, and Denny talking about Izzie... oh, so emotional. I also really enjoyed Cristina's coping and how she did finally come back to see Meredith. I think the relationship between Cristina and Meredith is my favorite friendship on the show because you can tell how much they do love and trust each other. Grey's always delivers, man. And no, that's not the end of the season. There's just not a new episode next week so they didn't have any promos to show. The next new episode will be March 8, I think. Almost all season finales are in May.

I loved the way it turned out. I read a spoiler that Meredith's mom would die and I knew right away that her mom would be the one to save her by telling her shes not ordinary. Her and Derek were great at the end. I have a bet with my friends about Mark and Addisons bet. I dont think hes gonna make it.

My hubby and I didn't like it. I got bored with the afterlife talk, but I am glad she got to see her mom and her mom could be nice to her. As far as Mark and Addison's bet...Addison did NOT agree not to see anyone-- just asked who would she sleep with, so I bet she and Alex end up in bed together even tho Addision has been good so far in not dating an intern.

I pretty much thought that she wouldn't really die because the show is pretty much based on her. I thought it was a really good episode. In fact, all three episodes were great. Is that the end of the season now cause they kinda stopped having commercials for the big season finale??

I don't think that was the end of the season. This new formatting with having reruns in the middle of the season has everyone all confused. I'm not sure I like this new style.

i absolutly love Greys anatomny and look forward to it all week long. I knew that meredith wasnt actually going to die because shes the main character in the show but i wasnt sure how exactly it would play out. the whole after life bit was a little bit cheesy for my taste but ended up being not bad. I like that they showed the softer side of christina at the end. Anyways it was a great three part epiaode thing

I think Christina is very soft but has a hard time showing it. I bet they open up her character a bit with her showing her emotions a bit more. It really would open up the character development!

I think it was actually well done. I liked that she got to sort of make peace with her mother before she went 'back'. It was more believable than if Meredith had woken from a dream or something, but I knew she couldnt die.

I agree, it was much better than a dream!

I'm glad they didn't go the nightmare route, but they did enter some strange territory. Luckily it worked. I knew how the show would end-- I had read the spoilers on Spoilerfix.com a week earlier.

I think this is a great show It is well acted and well written. The scene at the end when Meredith and her mother pass and when the mother tell her she is not average. That made me a little teary eyed. I was glad it did not turn out to be a dream, this way it was more interesting

I wasn't very surprised because I haven't viewed the episode yet.
