Have you ever been drunk and do you remember the last time you drank too much?I have never been so drunk as to not know what I am doing or where I am.I have only had one hangover(to my memory) and that was because I was called into work on my day off and we all know what it is like to work after a night of drinking.

I have only gotten drunk a couple of times in my life. The last time was about 4 years ago. My partner and I was surpose to meet up with some friends of ours. For some reason or another my partner called to let me know he wasn't going to be able to make yet again. I decided that I was going to go anyway. We ended up at a bar. I was drinking anything and everything that my friends suggested. To this day I still think it was fun and sure did piss off my partner.

Guilty. I have had a few times when I blacked out while drinking. That was in my youth. I have had hangovers a couple of times. Blushing over that statement. I recently found out how easy it is to overdo without really realizing it. I woke the next day with a massive hangover that took me nearly the entire day to shake. And of course what is the statement that we all make....never again.

Yes, I prayed at least 4 times. Yuck.

Did you get a chance to pray to the almight God of porcelan? One of the hard lessons to learn about anything is moderation.Having blackouts I would imagine would be pretty scary and I hope you do not have to go thru that again.

Last time I drank was last night. Not much of a hangover though, just no money left in my purse! Which is the downside of drinking.

I am going to presume you are female as you mention no money in purse.Do you find that you get alot of males offering to buy a drink for you? Many of the girls I know talk about how they did not have to pay for a single drink all night.I hope you have at least enough there for a shot of coffee.

I normally don't drink and two drinks makes me typsy. But the last time i got drunk was when I broke up with a guy. My friend took me out on a drinking binge. I had probably 10 drinks. I didn't feel much of anything for a while. I did feel sick and passed out on the lawn. Last time i do that for a while.

Breaking up is always difficult and stressful. The big thing is that you know your normal limits and usually stay within them.Obviously someone was able to get you home safely.I hope it does not happen where you drink to forget for a long, long time.To your health!

I do understand the idea of socializing, but are you able to control the peer pressure yet?If you choose to drink, that is fine.If you are feeling pressured to drink, that makes it not of your choice.

i do not feel there should be a reason for drinking hot drinks. all of them normally fool others by passifying things and put every thing on others for their drinking . it is a very bad habit and to be avoided

Thank you for replying.I think this may be one of those times where a language barrier may exist(or I am slow) as I do not fully understand what you are trying to get across. Are you meaning others are using their friend's acquantences as a reason for drinking and therfore not taking the responsibility of their drinking? If so,I do agree there are some who will hide behind a bottle.

I do not know about getting drunk just to experience the "feeling" that comes with it.If you are responsible enough to drink in moderation, then that is great!

The last time I remember that I was so drunk is when I keep on shouting, though I know what I was doing and still remembers it. When I'm drunk I just become loud, like the normal tone for my voice is shouting, haha! I can even remember that my friend and I were slapping each other very hard that we couldn't feel any pain. And the next day after drink would be a hang over.

I do not like drinking and i have not been getting drunk at all, I will stop when I know I reach the maximum limit because it is dangerous if i am getting drunk and hanging around the streets. Drinking should be something happy, hangover is not good when you puke few times in one night. For me, I enjoy drinking in the way that I can drink with my friends and have nice chatting with them.

i've definetly drank too much on several occasions not that i came to the party intending to do that because it usually ruins everyone else's night. ahh yes the working with hangover never never fun i avoid that at all costs because all it usually does it slow you right down and its absolutely horrible trying to concentrate on something in that condition

O.B.S.E.R.V.E. Alcohol -

Research shows that‚ under certain circumstances, alcohol use can be dangerous. How do you know what those circumstances are?

Remembering the letters in the word “OBSERVE” will remind you how to greatly reduce your risk of having an alcohol–related problem by simply not drinking.

Zero alcohol is the best choice if you are:

* On certain medications or have certain illnesses (check with your doctor). Mixing medicines with booze may give you a buzz you didn’t bargain for.

* Behind the wheel‚ or engaged in tasks requiring full mental or physical functioning. Drinking and driving is one of the most dangerous things anyone can do. But you already knew that.

* Stressed out or tired. Drinking doesn’t relieve stress‚ it only complicates things further. And it could lead to depression. Talk to a friend instead, or do some relaxation exercises‚ or maybe go shopping.

* Either the son‚ daughter or sibling of someone with alcoholism. As we mentioned earlier‚ alcohol problems are often a family affair.

* Recovering from alcoholism or drug dependency. If you’ve worked hard to get yourself off alcohol or drugs‚, the last thing you want is to fall off the wagon. Stay clean.

* Violating laws‚ policies or personal values. If drinking may mean legal trouble or expulsion from school‚ don’t do it. Not worth it.

* Expecting‚ nursing or considering pregnancy. Remember‚ now you’re abstaining for two.

If you fall into any of the above categories‚ zero alcohol is the best choice for you.

By OBSERVEing the times to abstain from drinking‚ your risk of having alcohol–related problems will be significantly lessened.
I can honestly say that I've never been drunk, I was always the one serving behind the bar in a pub or if i went out the one who stayed sober to make sure everyone got home safely. I have never needed a drink to have a good time. I was also a single mum so paying bills took priority over drinking with my money ! Everyone should know their limits http://www.knowyourlimits.gov.uk/stay_safe/personal.html

I have certainly been drunk a few times, but never so bad as to pass out (before I got to my own bed, anyway) or not remember what I did. But certainly enough to have a killer hangover. The last time I was drunk (as opposed to a little buzzed) was well over a year ago, maybe two. Usually, I will start to feel ill before I get raging drunk, so I stop drinking (although I have been puking drunk on a couple occasions, I'm sorry to say). I learned pretty quick that I can't match my friends drink for drink (I'm 110 lbs, and not a regular drinker) so I just stopped trying and drank at my own pace. We've all pretty much grown out of that phase now, so it is rarely an issue anymore.

For whatever reason, I dance better after a couple of drinks and friends speculate it's because I loosed up more. When I used to party heavier, I got hangovers all the time, and it was so bad that I would be out of commission until the following evening. Nowadays, I just have a couple of drinks and I'm set. Though I still love my margaritas.

Ever notice how maturity hits all the areas of our life?Your dancing and your social skills improved with a few drinks, but the payback was not much fun.It is great when we figure out what moderation means.

So 3 years ago you learned a valuable lesson on moderation?A hangover on Mother's Day probably was not the best present to receive, but at least you picked it out yourself.Thank you for replying and looking forward to hearing from you again. and and and

This summer I got pretty drunk at a party (first and only time though). It was so bad that I don't even remember the last hour or so of the party. Luckily I had a friend to walk me home, or else I would have never reached my house.

Sounds like it was good that you had a friend with you who was able to help you get home! Not remembering the last hour was probably scary to you at times(being that out of control).
