Anyone suffer from lower back pain, I woke up yesterday with just horrible lower back pain. I am using heating pads and taking Motrin, but I am still in a lot of pain. My sister said it's the sciatic nerve. Anyone has this ailment, what do you use for relief? I can hardly stand the pain is so bad.

for the present take full rest. Don't strain in anyway. After disk settles down, correct your posture while sitting on chair. Take a break every 10 minutes for a minute or so. start basic and simple yoga exercises. It prevent future problems.

I would suggest you two remedies hereas .. 1. Arnica Arnica is a remedy with a well-known reputation for its usefulness in injuries and pain to soft tissue and muscles. Applied topically in either gel or ointment form (and in conjunction with internal use of Arnica 6c), topical Arnica can be useful for relieving pain. 2. Bryonia This remedy is indicated when back pain is worse from even the slightest motion. Changing position, coughing, turning, or walking may bring on sharp, excruciating pain. This remedy can be helpful for back pain after injury and backaches during illness. Just check whether it works for you.

Sometimes lower-back pains are caused by poor urinary system, I've noticed that everytime my uric acid is kinda high, I'm having pains at my lower back area. I suggest you to seek a medical attention for that before it's too late.

Thanks, I did have some urinary problems three weeks ago. I will check with my doctor to see if they are related.

I also have lower backpain. My work is 8 hours a day, they say that because of sitting down in long hours in work it causes me backpain. Especially if your not in the right sitting position or when sleeping your are not in right lying position. SO i suggest when you sleep, you use a straight bed if possible dont use a mattress or foam. So that it will not curve your back in a long time which also causes backpain.

I was working as a substitute teacher, and now I am working in office sitting down for 8 hours. My sister did say that might one of the reason, and she is in the medical profession. Monday I am going to take my breaks and maybe more bathroom breaks.
