Do you let oil reach smoking point ?

Oil reaches smoking point when you deep fry, and the oil then loses its health attributes and becomes hazardous for health. So refrain from deep frying if you have any symptoms of heart disease.

It also gets dark and taste bad because its too hot.

I almost never eat deep fried foods. I certainly wouldn't deep fry at home because it's so messy and so unhealthy.
