Given the chance to be a tourist representative of your town/country what tourist spot in your place that you consider the best spot for tourist to visit.
As for me I would really love to bring tourist to BORACAY Voted the world's best beach by the Sun Herald, Australia and Harper's, Boracay is the perfect island getaway, with its warm blue waters, powder-fine white sand, and a palm fringed 4-kilometer beach.
The islands facilities and amenities make her a recreational haven. Watch February's Fun-board Cup, windsurfing's annual international event, or the World Beach Volleyball Tournament in September. Or take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters.
After a swim in the sea, you can engage in relaxing activities. Comb the beaches on horseback. Play an exciting game of volleyball. Get on an outrigger and sail to the other side of the island. Swim over to the floating bar and cool off with a cocktail. Or hop around one beach to another and enjoy the easy-going atmosphere.
After sunset, the island transforms into one exciting night of dancing and partying. But don't take our word for it, Boracay is an island you have to experience yourself.
For many certified sun-worshippers the world over, paradise goes by the name Boracay. For indeed, many visitors have come back to Boracay year after ytear. Some have even chosen to live in this paradise island.
Care to share some of your lovely tourist spot.

well, I'm from Indonesia.I think The best spot for tourist to visit is Bali of course. There many beaches there and with traditional local citizen that makes you very comfort and relax. And the another place is Bunaken. Bunaken is sea park for tourist that love diving, snorkling to see or feeding many fishes that unique.

Well I live in London Ontario and for our kids the biggest thing would be Storybook Gardens which is a small park with lots of animals and climbing stuff. Things like that. We have some touristy (is that a word??) things to do like you can take a doubledecker bus ride around the city site seeing. I did that with my son one year and he loved it. Now if we leave the city and head for Toronto there are tons of things to do there. There is Ontario Place and the Exhibition which are pretty much side by side. One is with amusement type rides and the other is more of a play place for kids. We also have the CN Tower which is something everyone should at least go to once. We have an amazing Baseball Skydome and it has a retractable roof which was really unique when it was built. Now I'm sure there are others now. We also have Canada's Wonderland which is a huge huge amusement park. I haven't been there is a long time cause I'm not good on rides anymore but the kids love it. Wow there are so many more I could go on and on but Toronto is a place to see.

Well, right here in my town there is not much. But I live 30 minutes south of Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center. I also live just 30 east of Orlando. Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios are all just minutes away. I guess being just 5 minutes from the beach is somewhat of a tourist attraction here in town. I just take it for granted, I guess.

we don't have to much but we do have a place we can drive up a mountain. it is the largest one here and back home were we are from the mountains there make this one look like a hill. we also have a place to drive around to see the wild long horn cattle, buffalo and elk. that is very neat with the kids. but other then that we have little parks and alot of shopping. about an hour away in the city there is a big zoo. we visit the beach alot. nothing real interesting though.

That was one hell of a description you posted of Boracay.I am already sold .Where do I get my ticket?!lol Well,I am in Darjeeling,India and I see several posts of indian tourist spots in this discussion.I can't do such a great job of describing this place as you did ,or as it deserves ,but I'd try.Darjeeling and Gangtok are very close and if you are a mountain lover, you can't afford not to visit either of them. When you are in gangtok, you can forget the rest of the world.Things work differently here.Shops shut down by 8 pm.When you wake up,you can't make out a thing but layers and layers of fog.As the fog starts clearing, you can see the mountains and the valleys with veins of lanes coursing through it ,almost like the curtains of clouds that came down to greet you goodmorning are being lifted to let you take in the beauty .Once the fog disappears ,you'd see a bluish-white peak on one of the hill tops.If you take a closer look ,then you can see the snow covered kanchanjhanga (k2) which looks so near to the skyline that it seems crowned with a bluish top.As the sun rises across the mountain you can clearly see the valley with a green river flowing through it's heart and the k2 ,which now is a white hill against an orange-red wall.By the time it's dark you can see tiny bulbs switched on throughout the valley ,like there's a fiesta lit with candles. They'd burn till 2-3 am at night and if you are lucky ,then next morn the fog won't come down so you can see a different kanchanjhanga. As I said,my description can't possibly do justice to this place because it's difficult to descrive a small piece of heaven.

What a wonderful place I wish I could visit sometime.
I live in montreal, one of the world's favourite cities. We have everything but nice beaches. We have high fashion, beautiful historical landscapes, we are called the city of festivals, the comedy fest and the international jazz festival attracts millions of people each year to see them. We are a cultural center, we have an underground city, meaning every thing you can want in stores etc undergound at the metro level (subway level) We have great university where international students study at all the time. There is just so much to do in montreal as a tourist you would never get bored.

Sounds like BORACAY is a great place. Would love to visit there.
If you are ever in Florida you will want to visit Orlando, home of Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Wet & Wild(a water theme park) and so many more great attractions. Orlando is located only about 45 minutes from Daytona Beach, the worlds most famous beach.
People from all over the world visit Orlando year round.
We have some of the best sea food restaurants in the world.
And don't miss placing your bet at the Seminole Dog Track
This is the most fun place in the world, for young and old.
It would be hard to pick only one of these as most people who visit central Florida do so with the hope of visiting all our great tourist spots.
