What specific Italian food do you love?

Everywhere I go there are Italian food available everywhere! Is it because the food is just plain good or is it because it was too much popularized? I love their parma ham prosciutto and even the simple spaghetti bolognese. Love that bruschetta and even their ravioli's. For desserts i love to tiramisu or even panacotta. How about you Italian food lovers like me?

i love the true-blue italian spaghetti with sauce made of real fresh tomatoes, olive oil and the works. most filipinos are into the fast food style spaghetti which is too sweet for my taste but that's what i usually get because it's readily available and cheaper to make. lol. i always watch everyday italian hosted by giada de laurentiis on lifestyle network and i remember she made a dessert made of ricotta and mascarpone cheese and chocolate. it looks so yummy and makes my mouth water. i wonder which local restaurant serves something like that.

thanks for the suggestions. :) i didn't know there's an italian restaurant in reposo (close to where i used to work). i'll definitely check that out with my friends. the peninsula is a bit intimadating for me, though. lol.

I have to admit that I'm not very educated regarding Italian food, beyond the usual pasta and pizza. But I do love pasta and pizza. :D
