I have been using Norton System Works for many many years now. Its an awesome program isnt invasive. It's easy to set up. It comes with so many other options on it. I paid $60 the first time around & I pay $15 a year for a new one through updating on the sight. Its amazing how great it is. Anyhow thanks & Ive also used AVG or Grisoft as I used to call it years ago when I had it. Thats still the web address. Happy postings from Grandpa Bob

I use McAfee Antivirus. I use it because it has antispam utility, antispyware utility too. And McAfee releases its updates regularly. Moreover McAfee consumes less resource of my PC. I am satisfied with this. Unlike McAfee, Norton consumes a lot of system resource. I used it too. McAfee, Norton, and Kaspersky are good in antivirus softwares. But I use an additional firewall too.

I stick to my only-free-products policy so i had to find a free antivirus who was efficient enough. And i think i found it. Avast free edition is way better than other free ones like avg etc, and i've been using it for a while now. I used to have Norton, but it's really invasive, it controls too much and requires too much memory and space.

I'm using AVG and I absolutely adore it. Norton used to interfere with some of my programs and give me problems, but this never happened with AVG:) I strongly suggest that you all give it a try:D

That sounds good for you! Well, I am currently using avira antivir personal classic edition. I have been using this software for almost two years. Since using it, I have never had any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. Otherwise, I am quite satisfied with its performance. It udpates regularly and can be scheduled at your most convenient time. It is very light on resources and does not use a lot of memory. Hence, does not slow down your computer. It detects and deletes rootkits, worms, or viruses. Overall, it does its jobs pretty well.
That's it.
Havge a nice day and God speed!

I use Norton Internet security. I would like to try the Norton System Works also. I have had problems with Mcaffee running on a couple of my computers - it did not seem to agree with the Windows operating system. It caused my computer to lock up several times. I have not had any trouble with Norton, and I also have not lost any of my files due to infection while using it. It seems to be a very good firewall, and also a very good antivirus.
