Not many people go to the Library today. I prefer to buy a book and read it. My sister always share her books to me. We both have the same interest.

If it's a book I've heard a lot about and from a good/familiar author, I usually buy it if I can afford it. If not, I'll get it from the library. I usually don't like borrowing books(probably because most of my friends don't read.)

Feed the mind with books. The author has more details to tell than seeing them in movies or TV.

I love the feeling of buying a book - how it's new and something special that I picked out. I attribute this to going to a bookstore every week as a child and getting new books. Unfortunately, I don't have the money for this, so I use the library. That's probably better, not only for the money, but because I don't have anywhere to put the books I'd read.

I spent more time in a bookstore than in shopping dress. Books are getting expensive. Good books will cost up to 500 pesos.

Our library is always busy. We love to read and if we don't find the books on the book trading site or at library book sales or flea markets or church rummage sales then we borrow. It seems we don't enough time to read all the books. Glad since then we have more to look forward to.

Many public libraries are not updated. Very few go to libraries. Children spent more of their time watching TV or stay on the computer game.

I take my toddler to story time once or twice a week. Its great because they sing nursery ryhmes then read some stories and do a craft at the end. My son loves it and we get soem books to read at bed time and i get a few for myself. I do like buying my own books, but usual end up lending them out or swapping them with my sister or aunty. After storytime this week i went to get out 8 books and they said i could only get out 7 as i had reached my limit. Most have a limit of 10.. My libraries limit is 50!!!! As i have been going thru a book a weekk libraries just work out much cheaper

I have a great connection for books. I work for a doctor and his wife and I swap books. This has expanded to the patients also. So we all have an endless array of books available to all of us at all times. You can't become attached to the books, otherwise you may never see it again.

If it's a book I know I'll want to reread, then I'd prefer to buy it. But I like to go to the library, just to look at books and find new authors and books. I also like to borrow craft books and business books from the library. I think this is better because you often only want one idea from the book.

I prefer to buy my books. 1) I like to re-read books. 2) I like knowing where all of my books are. I don't borrow and I don't lend. 3) I only have my own stuff to be responsible for.

a girl reading a harry potter book - a girl reading the book harry potter & the goblet of fire
I love reading books, mostly fantasy & romance novels. As for now I only borrow from my friends since buying is not included in my budget but I'll definitely buy the whole Harry Potter series when I can.

I'm possessive when it comes to books.A good book should be owned once and for all. I should not live with the feeling that one day it should leave me. I feel as if I'm lost if my companion leaves me.

I like to buy books but I don't always borrow from friends. I always share books with my sister, though. We have the same passion for reading. I like buying new books because they are brand new and I love new books. Old books? Nah, sometimes they put me off but if it's a book that I really want, then it does not matter if it's new or old. As long as I have the book, then it's good. I don't go to the library often anyway. There's one nearby and I only need to catch a bus to go there. But, the books there are old and not updated. There is also another library, which is further away. This library is better but if I want to go there, I'd need someone to fetch me there. Books are expensive in Malaysia. I usually wait for discounts then I'll buy new books.

If I like a book I would buy it and take my own time to read it but on the other hand if I borrow a book from the library i would be compelled to return the book on time or i would have to take an extension on date of submission

Trading books with friends is what my brother and I prefer. Whenever it seems like we've pretty much gone through all of the books in our house, he just comes back home with a book or two in his hand. He trades some of our books with his high school classmates, something that they managed to retain since high school. It's a great way to acquire new reads without spending a dime and looking out for the authors whose titles I may just buy should I get the chance to.

I don't buy many books except if I'm flying somewhere, then I like to buy something new. A lot of friends have many books, so I borrow from them.
