Hmm..., Ok!
First, the formal and serious part - Here are some points for your kind consideration:
* You have been lately found guilty of makeing a lot of grammatical mistakes in your post(s). As for the two lines, that you have posted in this discussion, you have managed to make quite a few typos. Also, if you read what you have posted here, you will find, that you are also messing with sentence construction. Read your above posting carefully, and you will know, what I intend to say.
* I have not read any guidelines, which points out that our inactivity on the site can result in the decrease in our ratings.
* Your attitude, and mannerism does play a crutial role in deciding other user(s) to grant you a positive, or negative rating. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only factor, that can influnce those ratings.
Now, the lighter side of life:
* Blue is a nice color, but red is not that bad either! You hubby might have enjoyed those shy red looks on your face, when he first met you, and that might have played an important role in your marriage ( I hope you dont disappoint me on my nostalgic 'Shy Indian Woman' theory!)
* Sky is blue, which is important for fantacy, but blood is red, which is important for life! 2-0!
* Ratings goes up and down. Life goes on anyways ('Jeevan hai, chalta rehata hai')
Hope that helps!
Cheers!

First the compliments for your resonse:
Hey thats a very cute response. I have seen your other discussions and responses and found that you write very beautifully, you are a good writer as well as your thoughts are intelligent. You take time to think and then post a response over here at mylot.
Now about my discussions and rating:
And yes I read my discussion, there is one spelling mistake (gve instead of give) and few grammatical mistakes too and some of the sentences framing is incorrect. I was trying to make more money by posting more discussions and responding to as many responses as I can in less time.
Thanks for correcting me. I will be more cautious from the next time.

I think you should still be glad, because you're star is still blue. While mine was a blue also just a few days back, but now it's already red. Imagine that for just a night you're shining blue would suddenly turn to red, I checked it befor I even log out (96/100). But the the next checked it, t'was already on the brink (95/100) and I said that I'll be expecting this to go down because I know someone who got envy about my discussions, and then ther it was -red already. Then I hink still not contented on what I got, that same person rated me negatives and now my rating's 93/100.
I pity these envious people.

I can't believe you are complaining about dropping a single point!! I would love to be as high as 96 and i'm sure i'm not the only one who would love to be that high up the star ratings!!
It is not that important in life is it? Mylot is only a website.

I am just stating that it has dropped and that because I was busy and was not able to give much time to mylot. Why are you making simple thing complicated.

You can see it once you keep your mouse on the star it will tell you the rating out of 100. Few days back I also have the same problem but someone here told me about this.

I don't think I would worry about it at all. In fact when I started at 100 points I somehow had a 2 (and I was never sure why because I always try to post good posts) and now it is up to an 8. I think everyone would love to have a 10 and the ratings change so often. Therefore I think you shouldn't worry about it too much. I'm giving you a big plus because I like your topic. Have a nice day.

I had been inactive for 3 weeks here at mylot and my rating then was an 82. I come back and see that my rating has been increased to 83. So I guess this means that inactivity does not play a part in your reputation rating. You get a positive response, your rating increases. You put out a negative one and it decreases. I think it's as simple as that.

Yes even from other people responses I came to know that inactivity dosent affect our rating. Instead the kind of discussions that you are starting, the grammatical or spelling mistakes, the positive or negative ratings of your discussions and responses etc determine your rating. Well I think that I made some grammatical and spelling mistakes in few discussions, thats why my rating reduced. Well now I am more cautious when starting a discussion or responding.
