Wearing Mascara

i use mascara but i sure don't use that much. i use maybe a tube every couple of months. i always use a nice amount not too much. i use foundation and powder. sometimes i use blush but not too often.

That is a lot of mascara! I thought i was bad enough goign through a tube every 2-3 months! I only ever wear a amximum of two coats though, and although i always wear a waterproof forumula (anything less smudges on me within the hour) i wear lighter, more sensitive formular during the week for work, and i always take it off using a really good eye make up remover at night, and i've found there's no damage to my eye lashes by taking care of them that way. I couldn't imagin just wearing mascara and not wearing any other make up. That would be like only do half, or even a quarter or something, of a job!

Thanks for the link. I rarely use mascara myself. I bought a tube about 3 years ago and think it is time to replace it. Free is good. When I wear it, I usually put just enough on to emphasize my lashes. That is all I need.

That's a lot of mascara. I wear mascara b/c I have blonde eyelashes so I have to or I look washed out a lot of the time. I only put on 1-2 coats though. I've noticed on some of the reality shows with younger girls that they wear a lot of eye makeup. I guess it's just one of those trends.

I can't imagine going through that much mascara! I don't think I have ever "finished" tube - ever! I always end up throwing it out because it is so old, not because it is empty! It is the style now though to not wear face make up and to wear dark eye make up only. It doesn't look good when it is done incorrectly though and it sounds like your daughter and her friends are putting on WAY too much if they are going through a tube a week and look like a raccoon!
