I used to do this in my old house as the bath faced the door so the TV could be in the hall and I didn't have to worry about the electricity. There are times when I need to focus on something else for a while and TV takes very little energy. but dos anyone watch TV in the bath and if you don't would you want to?

If I could, I would like to watch TV in the bath. I think I would especially like to watch shows that are on PBS, like Bob Ross, he's that guy who teaches you to paint, with happy little trees ;-) I always found his show so calming. I think cooking shows would also be a great thing to have on and zone out too.
I would want to watch something that is soothing, but dosen't require a lot of commitment to paying attention on my part (like LOST -which I still don't get even when I am paying attention!)
I don't usually read in the tub because I am afarid of ruining the book by getting it wet. I had a freind who dropped her book in the tub once and she was devistated. I took a lesson from that.

I would if i could, but there's no room to set anything like that up in our bathroom, plus i wouldn't be able to see it anyway as i wear glasses, which would a) get wet and b) steam up if i wore them in the bath, so really it's just not possible!
I spend a lot of time in the bath, i really love to have a good soak with some nice bath products at the end of each day, it's such a nice treat to look forward to before bed time.

I usually read books when I'm in the tub (trying my best not to drop them), but sometimes I've watched DVDs on my MacBook. I just put it on the toilet (it's quite far from the tub) and it hasn't gotten wet yet. French TV sucks so I wouldn't want to watch it anyway.

I would love to watch tv in the bath, however I have never done this. I have read about how some people on the lush forum watch dvds on their computers while in the bath as well. I would have no idea how to get a tv into my small teeny bathroom, and I would be scared to bring my laptop anywhere near the bath. Instead, I usually read in the bath, or have my boyfriend sit in the bathroom and talk to me while i'm in the bathtub.

I don't watch tv while in the tub but if I had a tv in the bathroom I would totally watch while bathing. I stayed at a hotel once that had a tv in the bathroom and I definitely enjoyed being able to watch a show while soaking. I totally agree with you.. I think it would be nice to have a tv for the times when I am too tired to read.

No way! When my fiance is home the TV is always on and he's always trying to get me to watch something or other. My bath is my sanctuary from the TV. I go in there to read and relax. I don't even like hearing the TV when I'm in the bath.

I wouldn't want to watch TV in the bath. I like to relax in the bath and usually I don't find TV helps me relax. I would rather lie in the bath and read a book, I like the peace and quiet.

My bathroom sits where the bathtub faces where you can see the television. It is not unusual for me to lay back in the tub and watch the television. Especally if a favorite program of mine is on. I don't watch television a lot but I do have some programs that I enjoy. If they are on at the time I am going to bath than I do end up watching the television as I take my bath.

I have always dreamed that I had one of those huge marble bath tubs that are jacuzzi and you can practically SWIM in, and on a shelf a ways away have a small tv-dvd combo. Oh yes. HEAVEN.
