I would definitely help a child I found that was lost. I would do exactly as you did. I have a three year old and won't let him out of my sight because the world is just too scary now and I know he would walk off with just about anyone if I wasn't so watchful.

I would definately help a child out who was lost. I couldn't just walk away. I'm so glad that you did what you did! I can't imagine someone not wanting to help a little child.

Yes of course I would help... I always see children and parents calling out to each other in stores and always help them in the right direction to find each other.. I know the feeling my kids always run off or be silly and hide then I think I've lost them. When I call out you see other adults looking too and usually say there's a little boy here is that him???
Children can get lost so easily and you worry now a days that no one has taken them....

Of course I would. I would too have taken them to security- or if we were inside a store I would have asked the store workers to call security so that I didn't have to take the child out of where we were. Hopefully his mom/dad or someone they were with was still in the store.. How frightening for the child and the mom! Thankfully someone honest found him and not a predator!

By all means I would help a child find their parent. I would want the same done for my child! As you did, I would go to security and get their help. I would not want to release the child to just anyone. I would also not want to be seen as someone trying to take the child!

YEs, Definently. The other day, I was in a hurry, we were running late, and I noticed a little girl about 6 or so all by herself, and she was yelling "mom! Where are you?", so I asked her her name, her mother's name and we looked for her mom together, once I realized we wouldn't find her that way, I took her to customer service where they paged her mother. I ended up being late, but I didn't care, if that was my little boy lost, I would want someone to help him. And I could never live with myself if someone else got ahold of the little girl!

The step you had undertaken is the only way to deal with it. If one insists on pursuing to locate the boy's parent, chances are the boy could fall into the wrong hands. There are some people who will take advantage of the situation by claiming the boy for his own or by claiming that they know who the boy's mother is, when the truth is, it is their first encounter yet.

I will definitely help any kid that is lost in the mall or any kind of place. What if my own child will be lost and nobody will help. But for parents bringing in children in the mall make sure that you will look for your children all the time. Dont be amazed by other thing instead 100% eye on your children.
