Marriage of First Cousins, Are you in favor?

My neighbor said to me, "Nelia is my first cousin (the daughter of my mom's brother). I like her and am toying with the idea of marrying her. I was told that i cannot marry her because she is my first cousin. Is this prohibition only social or is it also legal?" How about you? What do you think?

i think it is sick,i was raised up to be close with me cusions so they are like siblings to me. i am not sure is it is legal or not. i sure hope they do not plain to have kids. the could have kids with some problems becus of this. i think it is so wrong

Yes, marriage of cousin is legal and no harm in religious matter too, but little bit blood test if done should be better as marriage between bloodly relative may give birth abnormal child.
