Reiki practitioners

Please explain to me more of what this is. I have not heard of it, to respond about it. Thank you.

I am a Reiki Master. I attuned myself shown to me by a radical reiki master/practitioner. I have had many positive experiences when doing my own healings, as well as, sending distant healings to my family and friends and to people around the world. Reiki helped me on all levels-physically,mentally and emotionally. I also found it beneficial to energy cleanse my house with Reiki. I can't imagine life without Reiki. I'm glad I got introduced to it :-)

I am a level 1 practitioner myself. I am set to be re-attuned here within the next few weeks. I haven't really had the chance to practice on people other than myself. I'm working on it though.

You know I heard about reiki but did not believe it until I saw that one of the local cancer treatment t centers was offering it in their treatment program. Can you send me to some legit sites to learn about it? Thanks!

I bought a DVD and was attuned through that, since time and distance are not an issue with Reiki. I have noticed changes already and have been working on my family, as well. However, I was wondering if an attunement in person would be even more powerful. Also, when you have one in person, do you receive something that says that you are a Level 1 or Level 11 practioner?

Hi lordwarwizard, Ahhh, yes Reiki...Universal Light Energy...what an amazing process it is. I began receiving Reiki as a client 14 years ago and have taken training up to the teaching level and now offer it to others. I shy away from the term Reiki Master...a little too inflated sounding for me. I believe we are all connected to Source energy and are conduits whether we have had Reiki training or not. However, I also believe the attunement process from a vioble, responsible Reiki practitioner accelerates the process by 'opening the channels.' Being a conduit for Reiki energy has healed, balanced and energetically supported many things within my life and body. My Reiki training continually assists me in doing energy work, prayer, meditation and authentic, accountable living. I open Reiki channels whenever I am guided to do so, including distant healing. Everything in my world has responded well to Reiki energy...from loved ones, clients and each of my pets, including our fish. Whenever one is sick or transferred from one tank to another I do Reiki on them to assist their safe transtion. From that time onwards they become very 'attuned' to my field and always come to the side of the tank when I am there...even though my husband is the main caregive for their feeding and maintennce. I could go on and on...but as a Reiki practitioner yourself you are already aware of the healing power of light and love. Hi lordwarwizard,I am a Reiki Master.I was attuned just over a year ago.I use Reiki frequently.Lately I have been using it on my daughter.She is pregnant and has been getting headaches,obviously she can't take any medication for it.So,I have been using Reiki to get rid of the headaches and her backache.I actually had contact with the man who attuned me last night and he sent me an energy boost! That was amazing!

I am a Reiki Practioner and have been attuned to the Masters Degree.. The only problem is although I been attuned to the Masters Degree in three types of Reiki, I still do not know all the symbols and how to practice it. I do know how to practice up to level two in Master Usui's form of Reiki... I just thought it was weird how I kept losing touch with my Reiki masters after attunes but I know other ways to channel the energy without symbols that Cats taught me... So it's been very interesting, but I am going to study more of course within time. - DNatureofDTrain

I am not a reiki practitioner. I think i shoull learn about it. I have a very very basic knowledge about it.

I live in India and its 7.10 pm here. The best time for me would be 11 am in the morning .......you are 2 and a half hours ahead of me.

And i thought this was some kind of a new online game offered out there. This is the first time i heard bout this. Sounds interesting, i'll be doin some research & see how i progress from there. It really amazing what people gets to do.

I am a Kundalini Reiki Master having been practicing for about 2 years. I've experienced and been a part of some pretty awesome things in my own opinion. One example was my experience of attunement itself. 2 weeks before my first attunement my HA1C was 15.8 (which is almost double the "normal" amount) ... three months later when he checked my HA1C levels I was down to 9.1, which is still high, but the doctor still doesn't believe me when I explained how I believed it had dropped. Especially when you consider I was taking no medicine (couldn't afford it) during that time. Pretty awesome if ya ask me!

Hello All! I'm a Reiki Master. Short story about me after my first attunement: during the attunement I experienced myself surrounded by fire, as if I was standing in the middle of it. It wasn't a bit frightening the experience was wonderful. During the first week after my 1st attunement I began drawing people as seeing them through their eyes as I drew, I was told by my Reiki Master and a few others that these were the images of myself in other lives and a few was individuals that was very close to me.

I have never used Reiki before. I would like to learn the real way to use it. I would also love to become a reiki master. It seems so peaceful and soothing... Thanks for making this great thread. I will be reading the info in it, very soon.

I too am a level 2 ReiKi practitioner. It has worked well for me. I'm sure it does for everyone practising it with a whole heart.
