Virtual relationships are now so common. This isn't just about love relationships. This includes friendships and everything. COuld a TRUE relationship on the Internet exist? What can you say about people involved in online love relationships?

I believe that real friendships can develop on the internet. I met a guy a year ago onlie and we became very good friends. He flew from miles to meet me. Today we are still very good friends. We correspond online, through letters, we send each other packages, etc. I'm so happy I decided to meet him. There is only one warning, one has to be very careful when choosing to met people from the net. After months of conversation and probing each other, you should be able to decide whether it's safe to meet this person.

Just be careful if you think it could evolve into more. Ahh... the internet is awesome. I love it. But, don't go throwing your heart just to anything out there. I've learned...

I think you have rightly said there... it isn't just about love,,, there's definately more to it... one of my lady friend couple of years back...enjoyed voyuerism over the net.... and she did it in real... only to face the harsh reality later on that the guy has dreadfully cheated on him and all the information were made up... it was a great smart work by the guy ... there isnt much that my friend could have done there... later on my friend received a gift ... from that net friend and said try to forget me ASAP... he also added that either you are s*** to sleep with me ... or an innocent victim ... to believe in whatever i said... i can see there a fradulent relationship there.... i also came across some really succesfull relationships that started with the help of technology ofcourse... and are more happy than ever... its hard to say... i think as of now... its just a matter of chance or luck

I would agree with you very much on that last line, I guess. It's a matter of chance of luck. Either it's real or not. But then what do you do if it turns out not to be real? What do you do when it's real?

I think i would give it a more time... i am one of those who believes management can do good in all areas... i mean even in real life we get dumped and all ... despite of the fact that we know the person we tend to trust our instincts and repent later on the emotions that carried us away... i think in virtual relationships too... instead of getting carried away we should try to give some time to the realise the truth, time has all the solutions i believe... possibly an opposite person can run outta patience ... and thats good... you got to know somethin more about that person.... also you instead of pretending to be someone else... one should try to be as it he/she is ... with a person that they think ... they have a crush on... if that person reciprocates the feelings in the same manner then i think ... one can make slowly towards the goal

I could say some are true and some are not. I both experienced it on the net. But now I am with my lifetime partner whom I've met on Yahoo Messenger.
