Here in UK we have a number of Cookery Programmes on TV...
Do you have lots in your country,
If so what is your Favourite?
Do you ever use the recipes from off the TV?
My favourites are Saturday Kitchen and Ready Steady Cook and yes I have tried some of the recipes.
Some of the cookery Programmes that we now have in UK are...
Bills Food,
MasterChef,
Nigella's Kitchen
Saturday Kitchen,
Ready Steady Cook,
The Food Programme,
MasterChef Goes Large
Rick Stein's Food Heroes,
Something for the Weekend,
The Hairy Bikers' Cookbook,
Rachel's Favourite Food at Home,

I am watching MasterChef Goes Large at the moment. I enjoy the two blokes who present it and I have my favourites I hope will go through.
I do not understand though, why they desire to become a chef so much. It looks very stressful and repetitive in their cooking when they try out in the restaurants.
I absolutely love Gordon Ramsay and always watch Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. He does not mince his words, but at the same time he gives them such good advice and turns their businesses around. I also like Hells Kitchen and The F-Word. He is a working class hero!!
My sister ate in one of his restaurants once and she said the food was absolutely amazing, even though it cost her an absolute fortune.
I also really enjoy Come Dine With Me, this is so funny as everyone thinks they are the best cook and it does turn into abit of a cat fight. Its all to do with ego's more than the cooking.

I've never really been one for watching cookery programmes .. all that arty farty food, piled up just so .. give me baked beans on toast any day ..
Then one Saturday morning I sat and watched James Martin in the Saturday Kitchen cookery show .. brilliant .. really good food simply cooked and done right in front of you .. no special gadgets needed no special skills .. and all easy to find ingredients ..
James Martin is very good at describing how to make the recipes and keeps it all nice and simple .. I have done quite a few of the recipes they show .. I'd recommend it as the best coiokery programme I have ever seen ..
