What do you like about The Oscars?

Every year i watch the Oscars, its an awesome show, I love movies. What I like about the Oscars has nothing to do with how fancy the ladies are when they walk in, but the admiration I feel for all the work that goes into creating a movie that can move every emotion in our bodies. Stories that are told in a way with all its special effects and gadgets that we for a little while we can sit back and allow ourselves to be swept away into another time and space. Its not the diamonds dripping off celebrities, to me the Oscars are much more than that.

I like watching the actors, actresses, and directors win. I like seeing comedic actors present awards because they're usually pretty funny. I also often enjoy the opening skit because they're usually creative, entertaining, big productions.

It takes so many talented people to create a film. On oscar night they are all celebrated. And they are awarded the Oscar by their peers. it is not a popularity contest.The people who know how hard it is to do what they do are the ones who vote.The only thing that makes hard is when , like this year, there are so many great and deserving nominees and ony one that wins.Therehas been only one tie,and some times I wish there were more.
