Which brand/type of mouthwash do you use? For those of us who are concerned about dental health, we would dutifully brush after meals, floss daily, and indulge in the occasional mouthwash. Nowadays, most types of mouthwash contain alcohol. Do you have any preference? Personally, I prefer the non-alcohol type as it feels cleaner and you are not so inclined to swallow it (I just feel swallow the alcohol in mouthwash in different from drinking pure hard alcohol). What about you?

I don't use mouthwash. I floss and brush daily a few times. I use only natural ing. toothpaste.

I normally just stick to brushing and flossing too (and saving on the mouthwash). If your regular dental check turns out fine, I guess you can toss mouthwash into the bin. :)

I use Wilko's own brand mouthwash, becuase it's two bottles for £1, and i like it! Hmm, that's about it really. I don't think too much in-depth about these things.

I love the orange mint mouthwash. I usually buy an off brand though, it's all the same ingredients and far less expensive, unless the name brands are on sale and I have a coupon.

I like the listerine but I also found a citrus flavor and I like it better. Its not so strong but you still get the fresh clean feeling.....

wow, this is an old discussion. but i feel compelled to respond. i never took very good care of my teeth when i was young so i have problems with what's left of them all of the time. i find that listerine is the only one that helps me fight off major infection. i use it at least twice a day, sometimes more if needed. and i go the full 30 seconds, do you? i prefer the "mediciny" scented one, but the family likes the blue mint....so we get the blue mint.

I use Listerine as it is supposed to kill germs.. and I do seem to catch less colds, sore throats, etc since I switched to it..

I use the one in the picture, I've always found listerine to be a good mouthwash, although it is probably one of the stronger brands, but it does leave a longer lasting, nicer taste that some of the other ones on the market, but I guess it all comes down to personal tastes and preferences.

my most frequently used mouthwash - daily as a matter of fact, Is pure, crisp and clean. In the region I live in it is practically free to access. It is refreshing and gives a nice swish around the mouth to rid it of any lingering tooth cleanser or debris. It has a scientific formula of 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen, we generally just call it water, though.

I love listerine. I've tried every one of them except for the orange one. I think the best i've used is the Teeth and Gum Defense. I really like that one. And for my daily breath"mints" i use the listerine strips.. very refreshing!!
